Fairy Tea

This tea is spectacular in both scent, flavor, and appearance!

The flowers in the tea are created with something called “blooming tea”. It is green tea sewn into a ball shape with flowers inside. When you pour hot water over it, the ball of tea “blooms” and the flowers appear. This one was purchased from a local tea shop and was titled peach flavored fairy tea. Inspired by the title, I added some extra color to the tea. I achieved this ombre look in the water by putting in crystallized violets. The blue sugar surrounding the violets imparts the dark color, which then sinks to the bottom of the cup. This also acts as a sweetener. The flavor is uniquely floral, fruity, and sweet. If you cannot find crystalized violets, colored sugars or food dye may be used!

These teas could be used for offerings to the fae, or Persephone, or used during associated sabbats. It could be used for beauty spells, love spells, creativity spells, growth spells, and self love spells.

We will be selling this @quintessablessings if people are interested! I already have a variety of blooming teas available and several different types of crystallized flowers including roses which create same effect but pink!
