Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny
Audrey Hepburn photographed by Cecil Beaton, 1954.
Budapest, december 2k14
I am Scottish. I can complain about things, I can really complain about things.
You canât tell me that two FBI agents that spent 9 years touring the country in a Ford Taurus together would not be together for the rest of their lives itâs just not realistic
Mulder, itâs me. Are you ready? (x)
âLetâs try that scene one more time, but with a kiss!â - David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson about every scene theyâve ever filmed, probably.Â
The truth is when I look at you all I see is the white swan. Yes youâre beautiful, fearful, and fragile. Ideal casting. But the black swan? Itâs a hard fucking job to dance both. - Black Swan (2010) dir. Darren Aronofsky
For someone who once turned her nose up at television, Gillian Anderson is on the tube quite a lot. When the much-anticipated revival of the cult sci-fi program The X-Filesâwhich made her famous and won her an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and two Screen Actors Guild awards more than a decade ago as the FBI agent Dana Scullyâpremieres as a six-part miniseries on Fox in January, the London-based actress will be on no less than three shows. Thereâs also NBCâs Hannibal, in which she plays Hannibal Lecterâs psychotherapist, and the BBCâs The Fall, where she stars as a detective tracking a serial killer. All three characters, by nature and by profession, seem to be coated with Teflon. âThe challenge is to keep these women out of Scully,â Anderson says. âEspecially when Iâm having equally fearless conversations with other law enforcement officials.â She laughs and admits that reprising the meticulous Scullyâwhom she inhabited for nine seasons and two filmsâis a bit like riding a bike. âSomewhere before the first read, itâll just click into gear.â - W Magazine.
