new homes || owen&levi
As weird as it is to be with his boyfriend in a place other than where they’d originally met, Levi thinks he can get used to it. The apartment is a lot more like Owen than the house is, and he thinks maybe he can see why it was so important to leave. Even if he is still slightly bitter. His eyes wander over the boxes and the books and the way everything has been set into place, before landing back on the other male and he nods once, smile wide.
"I’ve no idea what you’ve just said to me," he chuckled, but his body moves closer accordingly. "Oh, good! I would have ended up inviting myself and feeling bad about it." He followed Owen into the room, one of his hands still rested on his hip while Levi’s other hand brushed across the couch, looking around to take in the rest of the apartment. "You bought things," he observed, sitting back on the couch with his legs folded under him. "It looks good. A bit empty, but you’ve got all the time in the world to fill it up with pretty things." Grinning, Levi’s hand leaves the arm of the couch and he crawls over to curl himself close to the other, like he’s done many times before, burying his face in the front of Owen’s shirt. "M’jealous," he mumbled, words muffled.
Owen couldn't help but yawn and fall back against the couch, his eyes already sleepy. He'd spent all day working on unpacking his first box of books and arranging them in alphabetical order, much to his own dismay. He'd moved to get rid of his old habits--- but they certainly die hard. "I don't know the first thing about decorating a home, Le." He was happy to have Levi in his new apartment and in his arms, but it didn't quite get rid of the nagging feeling that he was leaving at least a part of their relationship behind. They'd only really met out of being new and relatively unknown. Were things going to change?
He wrapped his long arms around Levi's torso, chuckling to himself at his words. "Jealous? Of having my own apartment, or of being able to make it look pretty? You are capable of doing both of those, you know." He lifted the other boy's chin to peck his lips lovingly. "You know that you don't have to stay in that house forever, right?"
