One thing I think people forget about with veganism a lot, is that it’s far more than just a diet or a personal choice. Probably about 99.9999999999% of the time you’re vegan it’s because you’re actually acting against, enslaving, torturing and genocide of species, which are the most defenceless living beings we know of with proven sentience, pain, and emotions. You know, actually standing up for them.

Like the whole “don’t parade it around/shove it in my face” thing, I get it, but really I’m thinking. “Really asshole? Because I feel like you need it as you’re your financing and supporting a global atrocity which destroys our environment, murders on the scale of billions and has pretty much absolutely no consent involved, and dismissing the moral and practical implications for what’s pretty much your taste buds” (Oh and by the way, have you not seen how fucking delicious vegan food is?) ((And if you’re willing to just plan ahead and make your own food it’s a shitload cheaper))
