i know this sounds kind of like a goof but - as an autistic person i really am tired, like sick to the back teeth, of Savant characters. where an autistic character isn’t allowed to exist unless they kind of offset it by being a savant - where they prove their worth by being absurdly talented in some othering-yet-handy way to the rest of the characters

like autistic people are ... normal! we’re allowed to be normal and exist without condition

and i want to see that more
