“You know someone? Was it Agathys or someone else? Knowing how to detect it can be quite useful around here, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.“ Tristan sighed softly as he thought that all of this was over for now. “Not new, though. I only have the necklace another demigod left me, the earring King gave me, and the ring Milo gave me.” He walked over to the table and took off all of the items that he mentioned, making sure to put them back on after a minute had passed by. “The necklace hurts like a bitch if I actually use it, but it saved me when I thought all hope was lost.” He looked over at Obelius after connecting the necklace again and slipping everything else on. “Are you satisfied?”

Obelius scoffs, but finally lowers his weapon. “No. I mean, yes. I’m glad you’re okay. But I was so sure you weren’t.” It’s a weird head-space to be in. To think Obi left a perfectly naked Iggy to come here. “People were possessed before? We really need to work on finding a permanent cure for that. Aren’t there any charms we can--- conjure?” he wonders, avoiding any questions about the person who helped detected Ari’s possessed and Obi’s lack there of. “Nice dick, by the way,” he grins.

“Excuse me, what?” Tristan was now more confused than ever. No matter what trap he walked into the dark aether, he would have never been prepared for this. “You know, pointing an arrow at me isn’t helping me think you’re not possessed. Plus, you somehow being the only one to know Ari was possessed isn’t helping either.” The hunter slowly stripped off his shirt, the only think exposed now was his body and tattoos. “What are you hoping to find?”

“You heard me.” Tristan tries to spin this around, but the only thing he gets is laughed at. “I know I’m not possessed. I was around someone who could detect it, so I’m clean. But nice try.” Sadly, Obelius isn’t as smart as Astraea, because aside from trying to look for some suspicious jewelry, he has no idea what else to do. And Tristan has nothing on him. Nor is he acting suspicious, or nervous about getting found out. “I’m not sure. Do you have any new jewelry on you?” Obi’s a lot less angry now. Some of his bravo fades, as does the evidence he had against Tristan. “Take everything off. If something on you is possessed, you won’t be able to remove it just like that.”

“A hold on me, yes, but that’s different than what happened to them. I know it is. This isn’t me blacking out in the middle of the day or being knocked out outside of Milo’s cabin.“ Tristan rose his hands up in self defense after putting his weapon down. “What happened to Ragnor and Ari, it sucks, but I know it’s not happening to me. I can’t say I’m 100% sure since they didn’t know, but it’s different with me.” He sighed softly, hoping neither of them were going to attack. “I… One of the daggers I used to use belonged to Nyx, okay? That led her to me and ever since the dark aether have been cryptic. If you just sit down I can explain what I meant by they have a hold on me.”

Obelius doesn’t buy it. “Take off your shirt,” he says instead, pulling the rope of the bow even further back, making sure the arrow will have enough power to plow right through Tristan’s possessed body. He needs to see Tristan doesn’t have any questionable jewelry on him, like Ari. “Come on. Off.” Pooh growls threateningly, as if underlining Obelius’ order.

Hearing his door get smashed through set all of Tristan’s nerves on fire. This really was fight or flight. He grabbed a hold of his scimitar out pure instinct before finally seeing who it was that came through the door. “Obi, Pooh?” He set the scimitar down before his eyebrows pushed together. “Nyx? Obelius, I’m not possessed. Are you okay?” 

“Yes, you are!” He says sternly, knowing the signs fully well by now. And they were that there were no signs. Ari didn’t show any, nor did Ragnor. But here were the facts. “The others didn’t know they were possessed you know. Ari probably still doesn’t know, unless someone over there told him. What makes you so sure you’re not possessed? You already feel it, don’t you? You said so yourself. They have a hold on you, in your head. Face the facts, Tristan!”

the response leaves wolfram stunned for a moment, rubbing at his temples. “obelius.” he scolds half-heartedly, glowering at the son of pan. he relents though, offering a gentle shrug. “it was… nice. does that satisfy your curiosity?” it was really nice, even, despite the strange circumstances that led up to it. he sighs, relaxing just a little now. “i don’t normally do that kind of thing, it was more adventurous than I thought I was.”

The scold has the exact opposite effect of what Wolfram probably intended with it. Could be the curse of a pretty face. It can never pull off angry emotions quite like the average looking human. “Really?” Obelius is perplexed and it shows. “But you’re so handsome. I figured you were hiding in the bathroom, because too many people wanted to do that type of stuff to you.”

iggy easily climbs back up onto obi’s lap, adjusting effortlessly to be comfortable. he goes to put it around obi’s neck, “i’ll get that in mind.” he grins, before quickly kissing the other’s lips before pulling back. necklace dangling easily from obi’s neck, “it’s not just a necklace. it’ll help you against powers…like mine.” his grin softens-falters-ever so slightly.

“What do you mean?” he asks, a little confused (from the kiss, or the perky butt pressing against his dick, or both. whose to say?). “Your sex powers? Is this supposed to kill my excitement? Because it’s not working.”

Pooh comes in first, breaking the door with his front paws like it’s made of toothpicks. Obelius, high on worry and knowing now that anyone can be a suspect, barges in with his arrow pointed right at Tristan’t innocent face. “Nyx! Get the fuck out of him! Stop residing in my goddamn friends!”

“i’m not mad,” he huffs out, getting out of the bed to pace around. “i’m just worried about you.” he stops moving suddenly, as if he’s remembering something. “which now that you’re not distracting me,” he turns towards his overnight bag - which yes he still brought even though his cabin was only two doors down - and rummaged through it. he pulls out a necklace, the one tristan gave him, and comes back to the bed. “this is for you.” and he completely ignores tucker rhee being brought up again.

“Okay, but a piece of advice --- your worried face looks a lot like your angry face.” Obi watches curiously as Iggy pulls out some piece of jewelry and climbs back to bed. Obi helps him so that Iggy settles right on top of his lap. “A necklace?” Not really his style, but it’s a sweet gesture. “Thanks, Iggy.”

iggy drops obi’s hand - out of frustration or seriousness, who could tell - before sitting up in bed, untangling himself from the son of pan. “too dangerous for who?” his face is a mix of concern and sternness. if obi was in troubke, he’d stop at nothing to protect him. which was an odd feeling, even if he had similar - yet less intense - feelings about many of the other demigods.

“For my friend,” Obi says. It’s clear he’s given up on the playfulness, now that Iggy is all up in alarm. “I already told one person and he turned out to be possessed. I can’t risk their safety further.” Obi sits up enough to lean against the headboard of the bed. “Are you mad, because I’m not telling you, or because of Tucker still?”

“hey,” he protested, grabbing at obi’s now free hand, “we don’t stop what we start around here.” he explained, pulling the man’s hand to his face, where he lightly kissed the fingers. his eyes locked on obelius’ as he did so, and then he huffs, “i am not possessed, obelius. i have a stronger mind than that, i’d like to think.” he smirks, taking the pointer finger in his mouth, lulling his tongue over the digit slowly. he then pops it out of his mouth; a tease. “a name please, and i’ll tell you all about tucker rhee.” 

Obi is too mused by Iggy’s effort to convince him to keep his hand going, even if he’s currently showering it in kisses. “That sounds like a made up rule,” he muses, tapping Iggy’s nose. “No names. It’s too dangerous, sorry.”

“you should get better at it, obelius,” he teases, his lips curling into his cheshire grin. his body reacts, melts, becomes malleable to obi’s touch. he wants that hand to explore as much as it wants, and his body is moving to allow it access to wherever it wanted to go. “a friend?” he pushes further, “who are they? so i know not to shoot them.” 

Well then. Obi’s hand stops whatever fondling it was doing and he pulls it out of Iggy’s pants. “You mean like this?” he’s smiles coyly. “I don’t know how safe it is to say the name... I mean, it turns out Ari was possessed all this time. What if you’re possessed too without knowing it?” Altough, what would be the chances of having two possessed demigods in the same camp at once? Laughable. “Anyway, it’s your turn with the secrets.”

“tucker is not an ex,” he immediately huffs out, rolling his eyes. “you have your secrets. if you want me to tell you, tell me one of yours.” he grins, his back arching ever so slightly at obi’s touch, egging him on. his own free hand trails against the edge of obi’s hair on his face, before finding a stray curl to twirl. his left eyebrow raises to the challenge. 

“That’s extortion, Ignaocio.” How unfair to get his own rules thrown back in his face. Obelius is scandalized. Not that that stops his hand from undoing Iggy’s pants and sliding his hand inside and under the other’s underwear. “Fine. I may have... a friend... that’s on the side of the dark aether.”

iggy blushes, grinning but trying not to let obi make him un-mad. he pushes against him with his shoulder, “it’s stupid. just not him? literally anyone else.” his leg easily comes up and around obi, as he finally sits his phone behind him. out of sight out of mind. “which special place?”

“Literally? You’ll be okay if I go and hook up with Milo?” he teases, knowing he’s slowly, but surely, breaking Iggy’s resolve. “Whichever one you’re in the mood for,” he coos, hand moving from Iggy’s middle down to space between his legs. “I thought you wanted to start telling me everything. Why are you holding back now. Is Tucker an ex?”

iggy lets obi pull him closer, his head listing out of the way to expose his neck more. “it’s not like i’d care if you did,” he says although it is very apparent that he would mind. he finally turns to look at obi, putting a finger under obi’s chin. “just not him.” he admits just a little bit.

“Oh?” Obelius sucks on Iggy’s neck some more, before he’s forced to pull back and look at Iggy’s face. “I’d care if you hook up with others. Just saying. But if you want to do it, I’m not going to stop you.” Because that’d be insane. “Okay. Why not though? Come on, tell me and I’ll put my mouth on one of your special places.”

“you can flirt with whoever you want,” iggy speaks but doesn’t look up from his phone. he doesn’t mean a bit closer to the other despite his strong need to be mad in the moment, but the kiss softened him slightly. “obelius.” he finishes strong though. full name and all.

“Just because I wasn’t mean to him like you, doesn’t mean I’m flirting,” he says, kissing Iggy’s neck now, a hand going around the other’s waist to pull him closer. “Ignacio.” he says back, but with a lot more smiling compared to Iggy. “I’m not going to hook up with Tucker. Just so you know.”

“go if you want.” is all iggy says, with lips in a thin line, eyes intently focused on his own phone, which was not logged into the godspeed app. he was browsing instagram instead. “i’m fine here.”

Obelius puts his phone away and rolls closer to Iggy. “You’re fine everywhere,” he purrs, kissing Iggy’s cheek with a loud, wet smooch. “Do you have some beef I should know about?”
