Mason Jars
When I think of Pinterest crafts, the first thought that comes to my head is the mason jar. The mason jar is sought out to be one of the most common used Pinterest-based ideas displayed at parties. The jar is quaint and simple, and adds a rustic flair to any setting. Most importantly though, they can be used and re-used without notice because of the many way they can be utilized.
Pic 1 (collage): These pictures perfectly demonstrate how mason jars can be manipulated to work for any purpose. The ketchup and mustard mason jars would look great on display at an outdoor barbecue or picnic. They could also be as table centerpieces in a variety of ways. You can substitute the jar for a vase to put flowers in for a quaint flair to the table, or even place a candle inside the jar with sand for a beachy, mellow vibe. And finally, you could use a mason jar as a drinking cup, shown in the picture above with the lemonade and cute straws. These would be to die for at a summer pool party.
Pic #2 & #3: Mason jars are a charming, new fashion for serving deserts. My favorite form of use for a mason jar is displayed in the second picture; desert mixes to go. Decorating a mason jar filled with a desert of choice, along with the baking instructions attached to the jar, would be a super fun and useful party giveaway/goodie-bag. If you're not the kind of person who is into baking, you can simply serve a desert already baked, fresh in the jar. Colorful cakes, brownies, ice-cream sundays or even smores are just a few of the many deserts that can be served straight out of the jar.
