When I was a kid I thought it'd be so cool to grow up and be like Wayne and Garth, minus the living at home still obvs. But like, just living every day doing whatever you wanted? Earning money by having a free, cable access show and thus getting paid to do what you love? Keeping a close knit connection to your hometown? Spending 24/7 with your best friend? I mean... I haven't accomplished all of that but I'm close! 😁✌️

Maybe I'm a sentimental bitch but Wayne and Garth doing those commercials for Uber Eats (and then that two and half hour long video showcasing all the small restaurants across America) is really something. I never order food delivery 1) because there's always a delivery fee, a service fee, some other surcharge and it makes it three times the cost and 2) a lot of times it takes 2+ hours to get to me because of the weird area I live or just never shows up, it's weird. I know Uber Eats partnering with Wayne's World is a marketing ploy, I know them doing these Super Bowl commercials is purely capitalistic but hear me out. Small, locally owned restaurants ARE our neighborhoods like they said. And if they close because no one is buying from them, all we're gonna have is McDonalds and Jack in the Boxes. And while that's fine if that's your taste I guess 🙄 we need to support small restaurants with all kinds of cuisines! I'm definitely going to start ordering from small places through Uber Eats. And yes I'll be annoyed by the cost but I can't let these delicious places close.
