✧ I have this one ancestor that I've always felt close to and admired. He lived a very eclectic and entrepreneurial life with a lengthy list of odd business/career ventures cluttering his resume.⁣ ⁣ I used to stare at his photo and feel comforted in the strangest way, as if he were staring back at me and saying, "hey kid—it's okay to strut to the beat of your own drum". I felt like he knew me, he understood me, and I wasn't alone—something didn't have to be wrong with me.⁣ ⁣ When I find myself pushing uncomfortably through routines and expectations, I tend to drop what I'm doing and lean into new endeavors. For a long time, I thought that meant I failed time and time again—but throughout the years, I'd remember his story and more importantly, how his story made me feel.⁣ ⁣ When I leave something I've loved that no longer feels nourishing, my blood tingles with the anticipation of the unknown ahead. Even when it's scary and the path isn't clear, I'm guided by that sense of adventure that sharpens my dulled senses and renews my passion.⁣ ⁣ I want to reach my deathbed, look back, and sift through an endless list of my "shifts". ✧ I just started reading a new book on “personality patterns” that’s already kind of rocking my world—sharing some introductory thoughts over on the blog today, along with a post about Light Language. ⚡️I share a great resource if you’re intrigued with Light Language but don’t know what the heck it actually is, ha!⁣ ⁣ In other news though, my husband and I painted our entire living room a bold teal—annnnnd, I’m bouncing between thinking it’s the best expression of ourselves imaginable, and slightly panicking. 😂 We’ve got a vision for the end result which I think will be beautiful, BUT this in-between stage is stressing me the fuck out. ✧ It’s those little moments that catch you off guard the most.⁣ ⁣ When you’re feeling that familiar tickle of anxiety on your neck, your brows beginning to furrow, your breath growing more shallow...⁣ ⁣ But then a bit of magic catches your eye and suddenly you’re in the present moment again, seeing with your own eyes as that anxious mist dissipates.⁣ ⁣ And you can almost *feel* your guides around you, their hands on your shoulder, smiling softly.⁣ ⁣ Whew. "Everyday Tarot Mini Tarot Deck" by Biddy Tarot

When it comes to tarot decks, I have a brand new, jaw-droopingly beautiful gold foil and holographic deck that you’d think would steal the show for me—but for some reason, it’s this deck I reach for time and time again.

This is the “Everyday Tarot Mini Tarot Deck” by Biddy Tarot. While its name is definitely a mouthful (whew!), it’s gorgeous minimal design proves that all that glitters is not gold. I’ll always “ooh” and “ahh” over my newer, shimmering decks, but the connection I have with my Biddy Tarot deck feels deeply personal and comforting.

This realization gives me a lot to think about as I set out to create my own deck. I’ve been building the cards behind-the-scenes and excitedly dreaming of the day I can print them with all the bells and whistles I can imagine. But, is that truly the best representation of my deck’s vibration? Perhaps—but perhaps I’ll discover that a simpler design will offer the most depth. We’ll just have to wait and see!

In the meantime, I highly recommend this deck along with the Biddy Tarot’s Book, “Everyday Tarot: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Manifest Your Future”. This is a perfect combination and guide for overwhelmed tarot newbies!

That’s the beauty of your journey.⁣ ⁣ Just flow, and watch yourself tick those goals off your list one by one.⁣ ⁣ You don’t have to label every season—you can if you want to, but they’ll come and go either way. Lessons from Sound: "Remembering Lemuria Meditone EP" by Rakai'el Webb

During this week’s pre-work meditations, I’ve had Rakai’el Webb’s “Remembering Lemuria Meditone EP” on repeat. I’ve followed Rakai'el’s work for several months now, but have recently felt deeply mesmerized by her creations and insights. Her presence on social media has me exploring my relationship to light language, ancient Lemuria, sound healing, and the deeper layers of Astrology.

For me, her track “Remembering Lemuria: Full Meditation” ties together all my current soul explorations in a single audio experience. This beautiful collaboration of her healing vocals and galactic frequencies instantly grounds me and clears my mind of mental debris. Every day, I look forward to settling down at my desk with a cup of coffee, my crystals and incense, and this song!

But digging deeper, the reason I come back to this track is because of its comforting familiarity. I know this sound—I know these tones and the messages that come through its wordless harmonies. I know that this song is medicine to my soul, and leaves me feeling uplifted, confident, and secure. The shifts are abstract and on a cellular level, but so undeniably profound.

For whatever reason, listening to this track regularly is affirming a current lesson of mine: I don’t always have to teach. I don’t always have to analyze, or dive into shadows, or demand the right words—whether typed, written, thought, or spoken—in order to achieve the healing I seek.

I’d love to dive into this topic more in a future post, but for now, I simply want to acknowledge how freeing it’s been to accept that I don’t have to translate every experience into words in order for me to receive the benefits of several energy healing modalities. This message feels similar to when I'm guided to “release and let go” or “flow”, and I’m feeling a growing call to explore the magic of sound and light.

New Meditation » "Evening in a Sacred Meadow" Guided Visualization

I’ve just released my seventh meditation on Insight Timer, a fantastic app to explore thousands of meditations, visualizations, songs, and other mindfulness tools. Their audio library has been a staple in my meditation practice for several months, but I’ve only recently dabbled in publishing my own content as an Insight Timer Teacher. That said, I know my story with Insight Timer has only just begun—I have so much fun creating these guided meditations and journeys and have a growing cue of ideas to record!

In my latest recording, I read you a story that guides you to an open clearing in a forest. In this sacred meadow tucked between the walls of your mind, you’ll find a few cleansing moments to detach from the stress of your day and simply exist with nature.
