The Final Post
For this site, anyway. I’ve decided to begin to consolidate a bit while at the same time affording more ownership and control over my online work and life.
Going forward, the type of stuff I’ve been posting here will be posted to my new site, Rhoneisms. Everything that is posted here has been imported there. I’ve been posting silently there for a while now and I’d welcome a visit from any of you. I’ll leave this site up for a while for transition’s sake but will take it down eventually.
I will maintain my Tumblr account as there are several Tumblrs I still follow. I still love Tumblr in many ways and many of the folks who run it. My decision to end this site is no reflection or statement of anything. The move is simply part of a longer term plan.

But first, we must admit the truth. The calendar doesn't lie. It's brutal about how much time you actually have in a day to complete your projects. It's honest.
Truth. Nice to see mine and Garrick van Buren's Power of When get a mention too.
We drive through storms every day. We just don't realize it.
Truth.
"A week at the lake": this is a Minnesota phrase denoting a retreat into mystery, indisposition, vacation, or retreat. It's our all-purpose excuse and explanation. We have no missing persons in this state, they're pressured to be "at the the lake." People from outside may puzzle about it: "What lake? Where?" We don't even know how to process these questions, which interrupt our retreat into mist, otherness, wrensong, somewhere "up north."

Don’t pretend that difficulties don’t concern you. Other people need to know that while you find the good in virtually every situation, you are not naïve. Recognize challenges, and communicate the reasons for your optimism. Your positive approach will be most powerful when others realize it is grounded in reality.

Today, we begin again. Always, we begin again. There is an infinite possibility in now if you have opened yourself to it.
I hadn't. Thanks to CJ now I have. Solid advice.
Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

If you knew you lived on the Best Planet in the Known Universe? That e-mail, PPT and other such bizarre forms of communication were too often distracting you from the experience of a lifetime? And you stepped outside more often...

Very cool project and story from CJ.
