Born in Maynooth, Ireland in 1996, Paul has quickly become one of the most exciting actors of his generation, known for his emotional depth, raw talent, and ability to make us all cry in the cinema. Paul Mescal has declared his support for the trans community for the first time 🏳️‍⚧️

The 'All of Us Strangers' star issued a public statement ahead of the return of London Trans+ Pride (LT+P) this July. The statement said, “I’m incredibly proud to stand in support of my trans friends and the wider trans community."

“Given the political climate at the moment," he continued, "it feels more and more pressing that we make our voices heard. This is a moment for respect, safety and recognition. Trans rights are human rights.”

The theme of this year’s LT+P is “Our Future, Our Fight”. It will return to central London on Saturday, 25 July for its eighth march and protest.
