Au where you have a clock above your head that shows how much time until you meet your soulmate.

Jungkook has just graduated med school and will be starting his residency at a hospital in a week when his clock stops.

His only thought is that his soulmate is dead but he's heard that when your soulmate dies, you get the most indescribable pain ever. Jungkook never got that pain so he is confused as to why his clock stopped.

He starts his residency and two weeks later he finds a chart for coma patient. The nurses says he has been there for 3 weeks and if he doesnt get better within the next two, the family is going to pull the plug.

Jungkook meets the patient the next day and finds that his clock, although dim and blurry, reads the same number as his, and has stopped as well.

Jungkook doesn't want to jump to conclusions but what else could explain it?

He goes in to the room every day after his shift to talk to his soul mate. Tells him about his day, about things he's heard on the news, about any little thing he can think of.

And every day before leaving, he says "It's time to wake up, Min Yoongi-ssi. I'm waiting for you."

One day he comes into the room and finds that Yoongi's clock has started again and when Jungkook looks in the mirror, he finds his has too.
