Sahil Peerzada : POP SINGER
Sahil Peerzada is a Pakistani pop singer. He was born in Quetta on February 3, 1987, but considers himself a native of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. He is a son of the former Pakistani army officer, Major Humayoon Peerzada. He is the only male karate black-belt holder from Punjab province. Sahil Peerzada was a drummer and an occasional singer in his college life, but he started his career as a host for the weekly television show Sunday Ke Sunday. He has also hosted the musical show Sur Sangeet and acted in the television play Koi To Aaye Ga. Sahil Peerzada first song, "Dadi Kuree", was released in 2004 to popular acclaim. His first music album Jadoo was released in 2005. In 2006, he released his second album Mujhe Ishq Hai.

On Friday 22 January 2010, a delegation of Imams from the Netherlands visited Shaykh M I H Peerzada at Jamia Al-Karam. The delegation was head by Allama Badr al-Qadiri and was accompanied by Mufti Shams al-Huda al-Misbahi and Maulana Umar Hayat Qadiri. Upon arrival in the evening at about 7pm, the guests were taken to the Zia-ul-Ummat Suite where they were welcomed by Shaykh Peerzada. Immediately they were taken on a tour of the Jamia Al-Karam complex and saw its various functions and facilities. This was followed by supper with Shaykh Peerzada during which the various services of Jamia Al-Karam were discussed. After the meal, the guests met the senior students of Dars Nizami at Jamia Al-Karam. Maulana Umar Hayat Qadiri introduced the guests and Mufti Shams al-Huda al-Misbahi addressed the students providing advice on the importance of pursuing Islamic knowledge as well as demonstrating respect towards time. Time is a precious commodity which if ignored and wasted leads to a loss that can never be recovered. He commented upon his relationship with Shaykh Peerzada and how he has benefitted from the thinking of Shaykh Peerzada.

Sahil Peerzada has also joined the Express News. He has interviewed with Imran Khan,Pervez Musharraf,Ishaq Dar, Sartaj Aziz and Molana Abdul Aziz Ghazi. Previously,he has worked with Waqt News and hosted Tonight With Sahil Peerzada Program, he has also been a Director World Affairs and Content Head of PTV News and hosted the famous talk show Sochta Pakistan, a program that discussed national, regional, strategic, social and educational issues with politicians, analysts and policy makers. He has also worked with Dunya News-TV channel as a Director World Affairs and hosted the current affairs talk show Dunya Today.
Peerzada also written for Dubai-based regional paper Khaleej Times. His columns have also appeared in major Pakistani papers such as Dawn The News, Daily Times and Friday Times. He has attended national and international conferences, seminars and policy workshops and had been a member of the Prime Minister's Education Task Force, that collaborated with the British Council to produce the Next Generation Report. He has also contributed policy papers to Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) and also written several policy pieces for Pique Magazine. He is also an Executive Director of Governance & Policy Advisors (GAPA), that provides consultancy services to the Government Institutions, Development organizations and Corporate bodies on issues related to media, Governance, Health Policy and Regional Peace.
