La dernière éclipse lunaire avant quelques années… 3h30 de mécanique céleste en une seule image. 110 clichés, une nuit blanche par -5°… L'appareil a autant souffert que moi je crois, mais j'étais obligé de tenter un truc pour cet événement. D'autant que cela fait un moment que je voulais essayer le parallèle entre le filé lunaire et les lumières d'une route et cette fois l'orientation du phénomène tombait bien avec un spot de ma connaissance. Le plus délicat a été de saisir tous les détails malgré le grand écart de luminosité entre la pleine Lune et l’occultation totale, entre les phares plein face et les étoiles… Un travail de longue haleine dont la durée rejoint la thématique de l'image… La perception de ce temps qui nous file entre les doigts.

Five Trees, #2.

I walk past these trees nearly every day as I make my way onto campus. They seem to provide me with an infinite number of compositions. It’s nice to revisit the same place again and again and try to find something new.
