I’m sure all of you guys have heard about the wonderful miss Cassidy Campbell who won Homecoming Queen at her school in California. Once again a moment that should have been celebrated is now being ridiculed and degraded by the ignorance and hatred in our ‘fellow people’. This is absolutely sick and disgusting. The amount of HATRED that this girl is getting is simply ASTOUNDING and it needs to stop. This girl is a human being, just like EVERYONE ELSE, and the fact that she has to go through ANY of this blatant hatred and corruption makes me sick to my stomach. And of course she’s not the only one either. Thousands of trans* people have to go through this EVERY SINGLE DAY. It infuriates me how people think that it’s OKAY and even RIGHT to degrade someone like that. Goddamn it people, get your head out of your asses and start acting like human beings.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, BUT WE’RE ALL HUMAN. STOP SPREADING HATE.

On This Day in the Phandom: 2 years ago!

On 13th January 2013, Dan and Phil take over Sunday night requests on BBC Radio 1, thus the weekly Dan And Phil Show is born!

#DanAndPhilShow trended worldwide and lots of other Youtubers congratulated them and linked to the show!

A bit of background to the whole Radio 1 thing: Dan and Phil were first picked up by Radio 1 in mid-2011 when they were asked to be streamed through to the 2011 Fun and Filth Cabaret via webcam and interact with the audience. From there, they were given a two hour slot for a show on Christmas Day 2011, appeared multiple times on Radio 1 throughout 2012 and we given a Christmas Day slot again that same year. The promise of a job with Radio 1 is what sparked their “leap of faith” move in London to be closer to work in July 2012. (Thank god it all worked out, ey?)

Unfortunately, the weekly request show finished in August 2014 (R.I.P.) and Dan and Phil were moved to a show called the Internet Takeover, which features different Youtubers each week. Dan and Phil now appear monthly instead of weekly.
