This beauty was built in 1924 and first installed in Woodland Park (just a short distance from the Please Touch). A sixty-something Philadelphian I know told me she used to take the trolley from her house in Fishtown and wait patiently until her favorite bunny was free.

We visited the Knoll factory today in East Greenville, PA
Adam Rung's Windsor Chair and Spalted Slab Coffee Table are in the show and we would've loved to also include one of these Kensington Benches, made from pine salvaged from demolished row homes. Their colorful trapezoid bases lend a modern bent and there are scoops carved into the seats for comfort. Go see him this weekend as part of POST Open Studios.
