One of my favorite shots of all time. A tired bumblebee was barely clinging on to a leaf and was falling off when I caught it in my hand, resulting in one of my favorite shots of all time.

I never shared it until now because it's blurry around the face and there's no amount of sharpening I can do on the face that could fix the loss of details.

But for now I'm going to share this image and share it for what it is, a once in a lifetime shot.

I dabbled in abstract macro photography last month and found this shot to be particularly interesting because the shapes, color and lighting turned out well.

Image was shot with a Laowa 65mm macro lens and was constructed using food coloring, water, soap and cooking oil.
