Poster for the People’s Olympiad, organised by various international left-wing and trade union groups to take place in Barcelona as a protest against the Nazi Olympics taking place in Berlin. It was cancelled because of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. A number of athletes stayed and fought with worker’s militias.
