"what is Revenge of the Infected?"
Revenge of the Infected is a ROTI infection AU, where a virus caused by the island's radioactive waste infects the contestants. The virus spreads from close touch, bites, scratches, and pollen. It can spread through your blood stream and airways until it gets to your brain. It causes hallucinations based on the worst fears of those infected, and they're extreme to the point that it causes insane self harm. This also causes physical mutations, which are related to the fear or infected method.
Because Mike has DID, the infection has to evolve and work differently compared to the others. For example, other alters fronting results in the fear changing, which leads to different kinds of self harm/mutation. Cameron theorizes that Mike is less contagious due to this evolution, however, if that theory is true is unclear.
The infection is named Plexippus Radioactive Disease (PRD), with the Plexippus name taken from the scientific name of the Monarch Butterfly. Cameron observes a butterfly increasing the spread of the infection, which influenced the name.

Whilst doing an inspection of the island, Chris and Chef discover Ezekiel hidden in the mines. This chases them off the island.
Nobody bothered to retrieve the contestants.
