Okay I know I’m a day behind but I’ve just read the bit where Dracula’s carriage arrives to pick Jonathan up and the coach driver and other passengers have clearly been hammering along this road, pushing the horses to go as fast as possible to try and make it look like there’s no one to pick Jon up and ‘oh no, you’ll have to come with us to the next not vampire infested town’ and I just think it’s really sweet that they tried collectively to protect this bonkers little englishman with the self preservation instincts of lemming.

And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.
i love tragedy i love circular narratives i love ppl who cannot escape their fate & characters that have been dead since the beginning
There are people I wish I would have never met. People I once wanted to meet, once wanted to know. But then, unintentionally, the terrible memory of them stuck to my brain, leaving a stain on everything I thought was beautiful. That memory isn’t one of heartache- it’s guilt. It’s terror, it’s that feeling of not being connected with your body. It’s dread: that feeling of panic, minus the actual panic. It’s the memories that numb you when you think of them- not hurt you. Hurt was never the right word. Being in pain, that’s a sign you’re alive. This? It felt like a calm mess, like an almost-death. It was more like dully putting pressure on the lower part of your heart; it’s not a sharp pain, it’s not something you can decipher easily. Maybe that’s why words can never explain what emotions feel like. Maybe words are too specific, too easy to understand. They’re not confusing in the way feelings are; because each word can stand individually, on its own, while feelings are all stacked over each other, they’re stuck inside each other. You can’t have one without the other, but at the same time, you can. You’ll have two different emotions making your head rip into a million thoughts. And when it all gets too much, when you get overwhelmed from it all, you won’t cry with a dagger in your heart, like when you’re lost in a forest and can’t find your way back. You’ll cry because everything is too confusing, because you’re tired; you’ll cry psychological tears, not physical ones. And, God did it take me ages to understand what that meant.
“It is my curse,” she let those words sink in, before continuing with the faintest smile on her lips, “I was born with the sun and moon in my eyes. And I was punished for it.” As the atmosphere thickened, a knot formed in her throat. Her index finger went up to her face, the marked side. With a gentle touch, she traced those ivy vine-like patterns beneath her blind eye, patterns as dark and sickening to look at as ash, as if she’d memorized them. Her pupil was milky-white, fogged by the curse, and around her white pupil glowed her iris. A silvery color, shining like water in the moonlight, peeked out from beneath, hinting at the beauty that was once there. “The moon is gone,” She paused for a moment, before placing her finger underneath her other eye. Her unmarked eye, at least for now. One would say that it was made from pure gold— that is, if logic parted with them. “The sun is next.”

Today in class we were asked to write personal statements for college applications and I found out I shouldn’t write anything after having an energy drink
So everyone kept asking and today I got my grade and she called it “brash” but gave me an A+
„They feel like a fool, but even so they wont allow themselves to show emotion, because showing emotion means showing that you can fear and feel pain, and that shows you’re alive and vulnerable, which is the last thing you want people to know when you’re in that situation.“
— Another excerpt from another one of my rants, currently sitting in my drafts.
Just because it’s ancient doesn’t mean it’s natural.
I said what I said
