The Silent Accomplice

Some of these poems I have been posting the last few days are deeply personal, but I don't mind sharing them because they will also be instructional to anyone going through anything similar.

Abuse creates dependence. That's the goal of it. It's sort of hanging on too tight.

When you break the cycle of abuse, you come to realizations all of a sudden, and this was weeks ago now I cut off my family. It's only now I'm truly reckoning with what happened to me and how it affected every relationship I've ever had in my life.

So bear with me if you find that cringey. It's for those who need to hear it. Love you.

You can live with yourself that way.

But I lived through all your abuse,

I have tad a humblr for a long time and been dyslexic for even longer. I don't kknow hotw this works though, but figured I'd give it a try to find an audience for my art, music and poetry. Here's Limerick to tive you a gaste:

Who was a tad over-the-hill.

But his handler was not,

And boy was she hot!
