Grayâs eyes widened, and he glanced rapidly back and forth between the two of them. The Faunus had done something strange to Robbeâs aura, he could tell that much, but he had no idea what it was.
As his partner staggered toward him, Gray brought his hands up and frowned. âRobbe?â
Hari cackled quietly to himself and, while they were distracted, turned and slipped over the edge of the roof. There was no sound of him hitting the street below.
Gritting his teeth, Robbe struggled in vain against theâŠthe whatever it was that was making him move forward like this so unwillingly. âGrayâŠ.somethinâ ainât rightâŠI ainât movinâ on my ownâŠâ he grated out, his shoulders incredibly tensed as he tried to keep from stepping forward.
The large boy's face twisted in indecision for a moment, then he sighed. "I'm sorry."
Robbe saw a gauntleted fist flash toward his head, then everything went dark.
They were moving when he came back to consciousness. The engine noise and lingering BO of a city bus assaulted Robbe's senses and left little doubt where they were.
Gray leaned over him, frowning with concern. "Robbe?"
