"Precision?" The Goddess blinked dumbly at that. Most of the time she just swung and hoped for the best. So her head tilted as she stared at the prince. A small pause before she took out her chained whip, painted nails tapped lightly at the embedded handle. " I want to see you try something, though. I admit I hardly think and this is no different. I.. Use magic half the time. For me?" Oh she's going to give him puppy dog eyes.
"Oh, absolutely," she agreed with a nod. If one wanted an accurate endpoint one could use precision and use the whip in ways the prince explained. She often held enemies in such a way, or use it to swing from one place to another (she'd seen others do similar tricks before) or create destruction in surroundings with enough force. Before she could lose herself in her thoughts, what was next said made her stop.
Sothis gave Zan the most blank, vacant stare. His words were registering, but slowly. She knew her weapons well enough but there was a clear distinction. "A.. Sword? You do know what a sword looks like, yes? This is not one. That's my whip. You want a sword?" Without waiting for another response she made another tear and, hoping her mercenary back home wasn't in battle, withdrew the creator sword. The sword that was created from her literal spine. A soft glow emitted from the weapon that resembled fire when she pointed the blade towards her companion, making it seem alive. " - you want to fight?"
“Yes?” He stated though maybe he wasn’t looking at things right. Oh dear, he had angered her and despite her being so small he knew the anger of a God was not something to sniff at. Still though at the sight of the strange weapon and the prospect of seeing what it could do...well. “You know what? Why not.” He says with a smirk, calling Stygian to him, the blade appearing in a burst of flames. It seared the ground where it was imbedded before he yanked it out, pointing it at her with a smirk. “If you truly wish to fight I don’t see the harm in a light sparring match.”

Zagreus looked to Credo and scratched his chin, letting out a hum. “I see. That is,” he thinks about it, “a long time for a mortal.” It was right? Right. See, these types of conversations were why he needed to get out more often! “Since you were honest with me I’ll be honest with you.” As honest as he can, for now. “My name is Zagreus. As to why I asked you that question it is because you felt closer to death than any man has a right to be.” And now he knew why he didn’t have to kill him and bring him back to Hades. Escapees were not tolerated, even unwitting ones.
Credo wasn’t sure if he comforted by that fact and he wondered how such a young man could tell just by glancing at him. What else did this man know? Did he realize that he wasn’t technically a mortal but a demon? A demon born out of pure foolishness and blind faith.
“ Zagreus. A pleasure. I’m Credo.” he introduced himself. It was only polite.
“Credo. Pleased to meet you.” The God stated with a smile on his face, letting out a hum. This was the first human he had stumbled upon after arriving in this place. Perhaps he might be able to answer a few more questions. “If you don’t mind me asking, do you know what happened here?” He gestures around them, to the damaged walls and such. “I was told there have been demon attacks here. I’m just curious as to why such an event would be taking place.”
Felt like I should post something but truth be told I’m pretty slow so here’s some WIPs

The brunet sensed someone close and he turned t find someone there, someone had been watching him. He canted his head to the side feeling more curious than threatened. Credo was still on guard. He wasn’t a fool, this person, this stranger could be dangerous.
“Is there something I can help you with? “ he questioned in a semi-polite tone. This person seemed to appear out of no were
It was rare that Zagreus had a reason to venture into the mortal realm but the recent influx of demon activity gave him an excuse to do so. Just a simple security check; find the creatures that were about, make sure none of them were supposed to be in Hades and then come back. Simple. Simple enough that he could get away with lingering in the mortal realm for a time. Zagreus was currently in his mortal guise but while walking through the town he had felt something off. This man was mortal, or should be, but there was something else. There was also something familiar, something that gave him cause to be at least mildly concerned. “You might. Though you also might take this the wrong way.” Zagreus mused, hands in his pockets while tilting his head to the side. “Have you died in the past by any chance?”
That was alarming question to ask a total stranger. The brunet tilted his side to the side again as his arms crossed in a resting position. He decided to be honest for now as he didn’t feel any malice from the man.
“In a sense. I was left comatose for three years.” Was this man tied to death? It would make sense. “Who are you? Why such a question before asking for names?” he asked.
“Yes.” He states, trying to think of how to best describe it. “For the most part the sharpest point of the whip is at the tip. I have also seen Meg and her sisters restrain their targets with their weapons, as well as pull them in whatever direction they desired. And you have to know how much strength to use, depending on your desired outcome.” Oh he was not thinking about what he was saying on that last bit. Woops. Though at the sight of the sword he raises a brow, picking it up and looking it over. “You...realize this is a sword right?”
"Have you ever considered a whip?"
“I did for a time but I could never wield one like Megaera or her sisters. Besides that, it’s a weapon about precision and I myself prefer a more straightforward approach.”

Here was her usual shenanigans when she bothered in exploring her powers. Creating tears to find new worlds, different timelines. Exciting people. Such as this fellow. Bonus points for her for him being friendly!
“How so? I think they are quite beautiful,” answered Sothis, her own green orbs bright with curiosity and merriment, clearly in a good mood. She truly could stare at them for eternity but alas her attention was directed to the entirety of his face when he continued speaking.
“Mm, no, no, I think I would have remembered seeing you before..” Or maybe they had met prior to her death? Most memories were still locked so anything was possible. There was a small pause as she floated closer, higher to his height so they were more face to face. “I am Sothis,” she returned with a soft hum, “You smell weird.” Wow So, you need to work on your people skills.
Zagreus motions around them, a smile on his face. “When you have run through this maze of a place as often as I have you notice what shifts even when it’s not felt. When one door is on the left or the right, when a river is flowing up instead of down. Otherwise one might not be able to tell.” He states, shrugging his shoulders as he casually thinks of these things. He really has escaped from the Underworld over a hundred times now, it’s just a part of his routine to notice these things now. “You can swim in the River Styx, though one might not enjoy swimming in something so similar to blood. Cocytus is good in some parts but frozen in others. Lethe is off limits for obvious reasons.” He laughs out loud, rubbing the back of his head. “The deepest reaches of the Underworld are as far from the surface as the earth is from the Sun. In short, it seems like there might be enough space but in actuality it’s just that spirits like to be close. That and beings like Typhon are kept as far away from the general populace as possible.” At the mention of Cerberus he hums, looking to the seemingly endless ceiling. There was one, but it was an illusion to make the spirits here more comfortable. “If we reach the Temple of Styx you can.” The guar dog was always waiting for him, always eager to receive the Satyr Snax the Prince managed to find. “Well,” he thinks on what ‘royal perks’ he might have, “I am welcome to Olympus at any time I please. I have a small wing in the Royal Palace. I can also channel the powers of any of my Olympian Cousins, should they choose to bless me with them.” He demonstrates, aiming his hand at a wall and tossing out a lightning bolt, which bounces between two columns before dissipating into a red gem. He calls it back, the bloodstone seeping into his skin before he smiles. “Just like that.” He eats the fruit, humming happily at the taste. It was a rare treat for him to be able to eat something new, so he would savor it while it lasted. “They are not so different from us. The are immortal, powerful, worshipped. But they are,” he tries to find the right words, “touchy. My Cousin Athena, an Olympian, is renowned for her tactics in battle, her Chasity, and by far is the calmest and most logical of all the Olympians.” He lets that sink in before he finishes with this; “She turned a woman into a spider for beating her in a weaving contest.”

It took some time before he was able to return to Elysium as the Prince. He had to time it carefully; too soon and the memory of Erius would be fresh as would their similarities. Too late though and she would be expecting another. So now here he was, invitation in hand, dressed as the Prince rather than the fisher. “Hello there my good man.” He beams, handing the giant Cyclops his invitation. “I believe this allows me safe passage, does it not?” He sure hopes so. He does not want to start this visit to Chor by stabbing the doorman through the chest. Wouldn’t be the first time today he’s had to do that. @follys-dance
Zagreus hummed slightly when she spoke of her eating habits, frowning at this news. “I know food isn’t a requirement down here but you should still take the time to enjoy it. You made it to Elysium after all! You should spend your days enjoying them to their fullest!” He beams happily at her before looking about with a sigh. “As for me I can’t say I’ve earned a place here yet. It was given to me because of my birth, nothing more.” He catches a glimpse of Theseus who is now being held by Asterius if only to keep the man from causing trouble. “Then again, one has to wonder about the requirements one must meet….” He turns his gaze to the stage as the lights fall, smiling as a woman begins to sing on the stage. She is plenty talented, though perhaps not so much as Orpheus. Now that he has his muse back anyway. “She is a good friend to have then. And a good mentor. You should listen to her more often.”
She felt extremely awkward about that statement. Enjoy Elysium to its fullest? She was lucky. She was in Elysium only because she found work here. If her kind were to have any place in Hades, it would be but in the darkest depths of Tartarus, maybe even with the wretched Titans. But she wouldn’t let her mind go there…
She looked off for a moment and caught a glimpse of the champions as well, knots in her stomach again. “Yeah,” she murmured. “How does someone get into here…” It suddenly reminded her of her discussion with Erius, and a light was ignited in her head. Maybe this was a perfect opportunity to bring up the subject. Perhaps Zegreus wouldn’t have enough power to change things, but at least he’d listen.
The two watched her colleague sing. Chor couldn’t stop smiling as she gazed at the nymph on stage. Some sadness was hidden in her smile when she spoke, however. “Maybe I should… I have a lot of respect for her. She’s a very strong and beautiful woman. I wish I could be like her.” Her smile faded halfway. She didn’t want to admit it aloud, but she felt as though she’d never be like Calypso– confident, head high, respected and composed. A proper lady, to say the least. And, frankly, a part of her feared Calypso took care of her because she could sense the girl’s weakness. Sometimes Chor even feared she frustrated her. “She just has… so much power over herself.”
Zagreus sighs, shaking his head as he swirls the drink in his hand. “In his case? Favors from my Olympian cousins. Lots of them.” He grumbled out, taking a swig out of pure annoyance. “Dionysus and Aphrodite are particularly displeased with him but my Uncles outrank them. Otherwise my father would have thrown him in Tartarus out of spite.” He hums softly, relaxing into his chair with a soft sigh. He looks to Chor as she speaks about her mentor and the power she held, thinking it over. “It’s mostly confidence.” He points out, motioning to the stage. “She knows the power she holds over the people she sings to. She has their attention and wants it. That sort of confidence takes time.” He muses, looking to her with a smile on his face. “If it helps though during your dance all eyes were on you. I doubt anyone besides me even noticed you slipped.”
Slowly honey eyes opened as she laid on the ground, holding her head as she looked around. Where was she? This place felt familiar but also different, how did she ended up here? Trying to recall what happened before, placing a hand on her neck.
After a moment she managed to recall a little, there was a fire and she was trapped with a small child. Then the bright lights, the hospital she was in the hospital. "Wait..." The darkness faded and she was once more sitting in her home. "I'm back in limbo!" Gasping as she stood up abruptly to rush to the mirror.
"I see...so I'm dying....it was silly of me to rush into a burning building but the boy is okay, ah...my son is calming him. Thank goodness." But she remembered last time she was on a boat, why did she wake up in the waiting room this time. Looking out the window as she sighed softly, she had kept in touch with Zagreus every chance she could, would he know she returned?
@princezagreusofhades
"I see...so this is someone who also prevents people from escaping too?" Tilting her head to look up at Zagreus when she heard the other gasp. Seeing the Minotaur as they towered over all of them she wasn't expecting to see one at all. She knew of their kind just didn't think they existed.
So the minotaur had a name, Asterias? Seems they kept Theseus in line, poor dear having to constantly deal with such an outgoing individual. "Just shows he is very passionate about something....but some passions can overwhelm others to the point of pushing them away."
Now standing next to Zagreus, as she looked at him. "Though it'd be nice if he treated you more kindly and didn't call you a demon. You are no such thing, I would know I've had encounters with one."
“Asterias and Theseus.” Zagreus formally introduced, gesturing his hand to each in turn. “The Champions of the Elysium Gauntlet. One part brains, one part brawn. Bet you can’t guess which is which.” He teased, smirking as the blond continued to try and escape the Bull’s hold. “He embraces his position with a fire few mortals possess.” Asterius huffs out, though his voice is fond. “Ha! That is because you do not know him as we do!” Theseus notes but Zagreus merely rolled his eyes. “My apologies. It’s just your face is so punchable.” He takes Rioka’s hand, waving nonchalantly. “No excuse us, but we should leave before you find an island to desert us on.” He grumbles, walking away at a brisk pace.
princezagreusofhades:
Zagreus’ still wore an unimpressed expression on his face, shaking his head with a sigh. “It’s not reincarnation of my soul. If you were to kill me I’d just pop up in the Pool of Styx back home and have Hypnos laugh his ass off about how I got killed by an exploding bean.” He hummed out, looking at his fingers. “Though I do not expect the living to appreciate my power. It’s not for you, it’s for the dead.” He says firmly, looking over to Navarro. “Those who wish for and deserve a second chance at life.” “Don’t think of me so lightly.” There is one other perk to being the God of blood.” He states, raising his hand, sparks flying between his fingers. “It can be interpreted as ‘blood ties’. I can channel the power of my other family members with great ease. Not to their full potential but,” he chuckles softly, putting his hand down, “let us just say right now you wouldn’t want to poke me with a fork.” “Don’t worry about his rudeness. I have heard worse in Elysium and I am not my cousins upon Olympus. Insults like these do nothing really.”
“Exploding bean???” Navarro twitched an eye then have a confused look where Zagerus has the power of reincarnation for the dead. A second chance at life.
Ink blinked at this information. “Second chance at life.” She murmured as she thinks about it.
“Channel the power of your family members? As in mean like Hades and other gods like Zeus and Poseidon?”Hellmare mused. If anything, that sounds pretty amazing.
“UGH! I don’t even need to poke you with anything! I just throw shit at you! You know what!” Navarro goes to turn to the other direction, away from the living room, “Whatever…I’ll be in my lab and also! Zagerus, right?!” He turns back to face the god once more. “I’ll be watching you like a HAWK! Got that?!” He did the gesture of his two fingers, letting him that he will be watching him before leaving.
“Don’t worry about Navarro, Zag. He’s like this with everyone he meets. Once he gets to know you more, he will opened up and be nice!” Ink assured the god with a smile. “He cares a lot about this team!”
“Precisely.” He hummed out, putting one hand behind his head. “I won’t defend my family. Some of them...ok, most of them have short tempers and also don’t seem to realize that a small punishment to them is a large punishment to mortals. Also they’ve used the ‘throw them into Tartarus’ line far too much.” He grumbles, shaking his head with a sigh. “But over the centuries I have tried to ensure that souls wrongly tossed in by my family get better lives and those who have paid their dues get a second chance. Of course, there are those who simply want to live again but there’s a bit more paperwork for that actually.” He hums out. It was a boring job at times but he enjoyed seeing souls he knew come back and tell him how things went this time. “Like all of them.” He laughs out, a broad smile on his face. “Even Dionysus. You’d be surprised how useful the ability to knock someone drunk off their ass is.” He chuckles, watching the demolition expert with an unimpressed look. “I was unaware mortals had the ability to see through walls now.” He mused, taking another sip of his nectar, sighing as he leaned back. “Well I’m not exactly part of your team. It feels more like I’m employing you to help me fix a problem we’ve somehow managed to overlook.” He sighs, running a hand through his hair. “Though I do appreciate the sentiment.”
Ok, so I swear I put in a hiatus notice in my que but it turns out mun forgot how the que works and it never posted. Sorry to worry anyone and to the people waiting for my responses but hey, I’m back from my family holiday and hopefully everyone had a Merry Christmas!

for @princezagreusofhades con’t from here.
Dante had been teasing him, just to rile the man up. He hadn’t expected him to actually say yes, but he was very pleased to hear it. He lifted Zagreus’ chin with his fingers looking into his eyes, their lips only a fraction apart; “Tease you? Now why would I do something like that?”
Slowly honey eyes opened as she laid on the ground, holding her head as she looked around. Where was she? This place felt familiar but also different, how did she ended up here? Trying to recall what happened before, placing a hand on her neck.

Zagreus looked to her and blinked, his eyes widening slightly. “Now hold up!” He raises his hands defensively, frowning. “It’s not that I don’t want your treats! I just don’t want them as payment for anything!” It was rare to have baked goods inside the House of Hades if only because there was always a fairly strict meal schedule. Even though Shades could not get fat Hades insisted they never share in the overindulgence of their Olympian bretheren or the Elysium crowd. “Halt foul demon!” “Oh Gods.” Zagreus groans out, turning to the origin of the voice. Tall, blond, blue eyes, chisled features. Every bit of the picture of a prince and why wouldn’t he be? He was Theseus. “Theseus, we have long ago established that I am the crown prince of this realm. Must you carry on this façade outside of the arena as well as inside?”
"It was a joke silly, besides my treats wouldn't be enough as a token of thanks. But I do hope I'm allowed to bake and create new treats here, its a big passion of mine." Biting her lip in thought as she wondered how the souls of the underworld would like her bake goods.
Jumping as a new voice came and she quickly hid behind Zagreus. Hearing he knew the other she slowly peeked out to look at them. Theseus? She knew that name but couldn't recall who they exactly were, frowning as she tried to remember who he was from the history lessons. Oh they fought in that gorgeous area. "Do you often battle each other?"
“That depends entirely upon who you ask.” He chuckles under his breath but then his attention is drawn elsewhere. “Only every time I run security checks.” Zagreus grumbles out, Theseus sticking out his chest proudly. “Yes! It is my job to persue this foul demon to the ends of the earth...!” He gasps when he is suddenly yanked back and hoisted into the air, kicking like a kid as he held aloft by the Minotaur towering above him. “Asterias?! What is the meaning of this? Put me down!” “My apologies your highness.” The bull huffs out. “My King is rather fond of his arena persona. So much so that every time he sees you he can not help himself. Even when you’re off the clock.”
princezagreusofhades:
“So the bomb expert has a short fuse. How original.” Zagreus hummed out, finishing off the nectar before whisking the bottle away, looking back to the young mortal with a soft hum. “I find it very hard to believe you could kick my right cheek to my left, let alone next weekend.” He chuckled in an amused manner, shaking his head before he sighs. “I have the power of reincarnation.” He states bluntly, letting that settle in before going on. “A rather useless power on the living but for the dead it is often a release, sometimes a challenge. Always a risk.” He hums looking to his palm. “Although I can bring back the recently deceased on this time as long as it is within a couple of hours time. After that though their soul’s thread is permanently severed from their body, making it impossible to return them to it.” He leans on his hand, letting out a soft hum. “I do have the ability to make ones blood boil or,” he narrows his eyes at the man, his green eye glowing. It wasn’t so much mind control as it was manipulating emotions, “force them to take a ‘chill pill’ as it were.” He states, leaning back. “Neither are what one would call offensive abilities. If I want to deal any sort of real damage I have to do it face to face.”
Shdwkyz snickers when he heard Zagerus responded, especially how doubtful he is of Navarro that he could kick his ‘right cheek to his left’ next weekend. But then he listened in about the list of his powers making the god very interesting indeed. Plus, the look on Navarro’s face is priceless as he widen his eyes at this.
‘Reincarnation?’ Hellmare thought as she widen her eyes at the information. If anything, it isn’t useless at all. Not only that, Zagerus can bring back the dead.
Glad…he’s on our side! Fosh thought as he listened. When Shdwkyz announced to the team that he made a deal with Zagerus. He’s so glad that Shdwkyz made a deal with him.
‘Blood boil?’ Jaron can imagine it how painful that is as he winced at the thought of.
Meanwhile with Ink, she beams as she heard what Zagerus’s powers are. “So cool!” Ink chirped as she clasped her hands together, liking what she’s hearing.
Blood boil? Bringing back the dead? Reincarnation? Such powers definitely made Zagerus all powerful all right making Navarro shiver at the thought of it. But would Navarro admit defeat and just calm down for the time being?
“Reincarnation, huh?” He replied, pausing for a moment, letting that sink in and slowly nods. And then!
“GOOD! Because that way I can count on how many times I kick your ass! Go ahead, bring back the dead, I bomb them from the inside out and make sure they stay dead!” He retorted. “So write that down in your notes, God of Whatever!! Heck, what kind of good are you supposed to be, anyway!”
As making blood boil inside, well Navarro doesn’t have a counterattack for that so he didn’t say anything to that. Nevertheless, the short teen is stubborn. As usual. It’s like a chihuahua going up against a bigger Greek hound knowing it’s going to lose but won’t back down because of its pride.
“Haha! I would love to see that!” Shdwkyz cackled. “Especially Zagerus wiping the floor with you!” He tells Navarro. Navarro twitched and yells, “Shaddup, Shdwkyz! I bet you couldn’t beat him too!”
“That’s because I know how to pick my battles, thank you very much.” Shdwkyz smirked. “Besides…you’re being very rude to our guest.”
