Years later: A statement
Hello. This account is no longer active, obviously. But my stuff still gets notes, is passed around, and I still get called on my piss poor behaviour years later. And itâs right to be called on it. The me from this blog is not me now.
Over time I have learned that being transphobic, racist, ect..., is not âcoolâ, itâs not smart or edgy. Itâs pathetic. Itâs weak. Itâs uneducated.
Statements I have said, calling transgender people âSnowflakesâ, attacking movements like BLM and antifa as some sort of political stunt was racist and bigoted. BLM is not politics or drama. It is basic human rights. Antifa, while unconventional, is a valid form of protesting. Especially in these times. I have been on the street walking with protestors, have been gassed and have listened to voices of people Iâve been told were âanimalsâ that are human being trying to get people with privilege to understand WHY itâs so important. And Iâm listening. Ever since around 2017 Iâve been working to educate myself and be a better ally and human being.
It never hurts to learn and to take responsibility for ones own self. And I take full responsibility and want to apologize from the heart for the harm and hateful things I have said and drawn. For doubling down on horrible rhetoric and parroting what alt-right youtubers were telling me to say (That I openly lapped up like the dog I was being, thatâs on me.) And I want to apologize, genuinely.Â
To anyone who was friends with me because I incited hate and picked on minorities: I hope you learned that isnât what being a human is. I hope youâve grown, and if you havenât... Stop being weak and scared of having your comforts challenged by real issues.
I donât know if Iâll keep this page alive, as it has a lot of my art and achievements but also my most disgusting comments. Maybe it will be for the better to leave it up to show how personal growth can happen, and how far Iâve come and am still going.
Learn to be a decent human. Black Lives Matter, ACAB, and stay safe in this insane year.
