I was scrolling through some name websites looking for character names and I found the name Kenna.

Like McKenna, but no Mc.

And guess what it means.

That's right, folks. The hottest (literally) member of the Electoclan's name means, I kid you not, "born of fire". What a badass

Leaked rough draft for Hatch’s death scene (revoked for copyright reasons)

“Hatch,” Michael began, his sharp eyes pinning his former captor in place. There was no where else to hide. It was only the two of them. “You know what happens next.”

“Please, have mercy,” Dr. Hatch begged. “I promise, I’ll— what are you doing?”

Indeed, in a strange movement, Michael held up his fingers. The boy narrowed his eyes. “It’s a new little power I learned,” he bragged. “I call it the Infinity Pulse.” He leaned forward, just enough so that Hatch could feel the pure electricity radiating off of his body. The hair on the villain’s arms stood up. “One snap, and you’ll turn to dust.”

“No!” Hatch screamed. In a useless last attempt, he reached into his pocket, whipped out his tiny pocket knife, and sank it into the electric teen’s chest. A smile of victory teased his lips when the boy’s face contorted into pain and blood sprung up around the blade. “I told you, you’d die for this.”

As he pushed harder, Michael gritted his teeth. Then, without another beat, a smile crossed his face. A huge, victorious smile. “You should’ve gone for the head.”

In a quick motion, Michael raised his fingers. Hatch’s face only twitched as the teen snapped.

A strange feeling overtook the man. He looked Michael in the eyes. “I don’t feel so good.” And like that, he turned to dust.

If you were a glow, what would your power be?

If I have to pick from characters, then probably Tara or Ian's powers. If I could just have anything, plain telekinesis could be neat.

I think I would get along pretty well with most of the girls, though I probably wouldn't want to be anywhere near Tara or Nichelle until at least a few books in lol. I think I'd be pretty close with Ostin too (and therefore Michael). We have the same sense of humor.

Grace - one character you think deserves more love.

Though I think they all could use a healthy dose of love, Taylor kinda stands out to me. I feel like we overlook her sometimes.

Ian - what book do you think has the best cover art?

Either Jade Dragon or Storm of Lightning

Taylor - your favorite ship

This is tough. This is too tough. I think McKenna and Ostin are cute. But really, Taylor's parents are wholesome.

Favorite moment in the series, huh? I think that's understandably a tough one. I can narrow it down to a few. In no particular order:

1. When they're all underwater in Jade Dragon in the boat with the Elgen blindly shooting at them. I've always thought it was epic.

2. When Jack gets to cuss in final spark. Great moment. Phenomenal. I love my son.

3. Rise of the Elgen when they're in the hallway and Zeus sets off the sprinklers. Super duper epic and heart-wrenching.

4. When Abi distracts the guard from torturing Zeus by stopping his back pain, giving McKenna the opportunity to melt the bands and basically save everyone. Heck yeah.

There's obviously plenty more, those were just what popped into my head first. 😁

So… I haven’t been using this tumblr for very long, but I’ve come to a few conclusions about our fandom.

1. We’re the best. Duh.

2. The series deserves more recognition.

3. Our fandom consists of approximately twenty-three people, the actual main antagonist of the series, a teddy bear, a banana, and a plastic chair.

I've barely touched tumblr in weeks someone catch me up on what I've missed in the MV fandom

i’m going into junior year too so we can get through it together!! i might be dumb but i don’t think they ever confirmed some of the ages of the characters like Abi, Ian, Mckenna, Quentin, etc? it’s probably safe to say they all fall in a range of like 15-19 or something like that, but do you have any specific age headcanons?

Hey! Sorry it took me so long to answer this friend, but school has already been kicking my butt. (If you ever get bored, drop on by my messages and we can talk about the struggles of high school together.) Anyway.It was stated somewhere in the series that all the electric kids were born right around the same time with the MEI. It’s definitely mentioned (in no. 1 I think) that the kids with Hatch celebrate all at once instead of having a bunch of parties. So there’s that.As for other characters, I think Jack is probably 18-19. Wade seems to be in the 16-18 range to me,amd we know Ostin is the same age as the glows because he’s in the same grade as Michael and Taylor and he never mentioned skipping grades or anything.So, these weren’t really headcanons but yeah, there’s that. Thanks for sending something in anon :) and you’re not dumb!! It’s an easy mistake. They don’t really mention ages too much.

I hope it’s okay I’m adding to this, but rpe said at one point that Jack was 19, and Jack mentions that the day they attacked the Ampere would have been wade’s 17 birthday. Hope this helps!!
