“Zelda?” Amelie asked curiously as she arched her eyebrows taking her in, “Are you betrothed to Orion by chance?”
Orion: You think so?
Orion: He would probably say that I'm living up to my name, or how I belong in the stars or something.
Amelie: we've always known that you belong in the stars it's not a big secret to any of us.

that was a punch, and so much so he stepped back looking to his sister. “we have not seen each other in a year?” he pointed out. “and I get that?”
“What do you want?” Amelie asked him curiously, “I can yell and punch you and be angry or I can just swallow that anger and be happier that I have you now.”
Orion: I will, besides I'm sure mother will understand why I'm doing this.
Amelie: I'm sure dad would have approved too

She nodded hesitantly , running a nervous hand over the foil she held tightly in her palm. She could practically feel her knuckles whiten , and she tilted her head slightly as she asked , ❝ D-Do you need the room ?? If you do , I can leave - I’m okay going somewhere else. ❞
“Oh no you’re fine,” Amelie quickly assured her, “I was just passing through. If you ever want a partner I’m not exactly great at fencing but I’m passable. I’m sure you have more important things.”

astrid: I don't think I would have dealt with this as gracefully as her
amelie: Yeah I don't think I would have either.
amelie: as it is I have to figure out where I fit in a relationship with two already married people. I know it's going to work out and it's going to be worth it, it's just awkward right now.

Orion: I wanna save Oppy. If I need to donate money to the states to do it, then I would.
Amelie: Do it. Donate the money. We have to save Oppy!

“Why not? That’s exactly what the world needs. Everyone is different and there are children that will be able to look at your quirks and relate and feel confident because of it.”

“But then the world wouldn’t have you and that would be a shame. We’re all built differently for a reason.”
Amelie was glad to be away from the careful eyes of her own household. It made getting to know both Luis and Gwyn in their own ways easier, but it also made it easier to get to know herself in ways she hadn’t imagined. “I wonder if we’re still going to be here during the summer. If we are I’m going to need to buy some bikinis.”

“If Greece was a dry country the people would have overthrown the government in one day,” The Austrian pointed out raising her eyebrows, “I mean there is no way they could handle being a dry country and that’s not including the royals here. We may not cause problems but it will be interesting to watch others causing problems.”
Empty rooms she can make for training rooms are all she has - thankfully , she brought a training mannequin from home with her , and while it took a short while to put together , it makes an … OKAY opponent for Zelda to practice fencing on. Whaling on the poor dummy with speed and precision , she takes off her helmet and is visibly startled when she sees another person. ❝ … O-Oh , uhm … h-hello , I’m just … I’m just. Practicing. ❞
Amelie had been exploring the castle when she heard the loud sounds of someone clearly in a nearby room as she poked her head in noting that someone was clearly fencing or at least trying to do. “Oh no. I’m sorry. I just heard someone in here.”
Carmen sat in one of the common areas, her kitten Lobo curled up in her lap. Her eyes fluttered shut periodically before flickering back open. Maybe it was time for just a small nap. Her hand fell over the kitten, her breathing matching with the gentle purrs of her fur-child.
Amelie had been passing through when she noticed the little ball of fur and she knew that she had to stop in order to see the little one. “She is absolutely precious. What’s her name?”
Orion: Hypothetical question, but how much will it take to send someone to mars?
Orion: Y'know just to check on something, and maybe y'know fix that something?
Amelie: idk probably a few hundred million
Amelie: what did you do?
