Growing up, summer always knew she was destined for stardom, the spotlight always loved her and she used to perform in all the musicals in her school. Although she acted in a narcissistic way, she always thought a lot about others and entered in the music business because of her grandmother who always supported her in everything.

After completing her nineteen years, she moved to Korea and adapted to culture quickly, but never left her American side, always making any reference to pop culture when she can. In the end, after a lot of thinking, she signed up for an audition and happily passed, though she has never doubted her own talent. She trained for a year until she was finally part of a group.

soo-ah's mother became pregnant at a very young age, and so she grew up without her father. She rarely recieved any e-mail or news about him. Due to her mother’s hard work, she lived a very good life and had all the things she wished for herself.

One day, when she was walking on the street next to her house, she received a pamphlet informing her about future auditions. She decided to go for it. After passing the test and training hard, she got a place in the group which made her very happy.

Akina auditioned at those typical company auditions where you have to go for multiple rounds before they chose you. For Akina’s case, she didn’t pass any of the stages and left the place looking down. That is until a lady came up to her, she was told to audition again the next day but with just that one lady interviewing her. Akina nods and follows as told, she passed that audition and the lady told her to pack her bags to follow her to seoul.

Akina’s parents actually disagreed because she was only 14 so they told the lady to let her finish her classes first and before she turned 15 to leave for seoul. Akina was happy her parents allowed her to go at such a young age. They did have a condition though and that was to study well and get into university. Akina thought it would be hard to balance training and debut whilst juggling school but with the help of the lady and her soon to be members, she is doing well.

background info on Hayoon

Hayoon was actually casted from school, the BigHit staff went to her school in SOPA and walked past the dance studio where she was practicing and watched her. After practicing, the staff approached her and asked her if she wanted to be an idol. To which, she responded with a yes but hasn’t gotten any luck with auditioning so she is continuing with her improvement on dancing. The staff smiled and handed her a card for BigHit telling her to swing by and try to audition.

Hayoon was shocked but still thanked the staff. That is how she became a trainee at BigHit. She, Byeol, Jay and Heeseung had a similar training time so they became friends and were very close until both Jay and Heeseung left for i-land.

As said before, yumi was featured in a bunch of her older sister’s vlogs so a BigHit staff saw her inside a cover video. Her sister also talks and does cover’s with Yumi on the channel so they were able to recognise her talent from there. Her sister, Yoonah, also got casted but rejected because she didn’t want to be an idol and just wanted to live a normal life. She was 16 when she got casted and has been training since then.
