Adventures in The Sims 3. Basically, I post my Sims stuff here. I love my Sims and I love to share their adventures. I don't take myself too seriously. I'm happy to make friends in the community, but I'm not too fussed about my follower count. I'm not on the internet for affirmation of my self-worth. That said, I'd say I'm a decent human, so if you like decent humans, come on down! I have written elaborate, dramatic Sims stories in the past, and someday I may do that again, but right now I am just enjoying playing the game and documenting what happens. Currently working on the super-creatively named Starter Legacy. When I'm not Simming, I am a hardcore language/linguistics nerd, I have several guinea pigs and a rabbit and foster for a local animal rescue, I'm married and I'm in the midst of a career change to become a teacher. I never actually caught the "scary computer" prank in action before. What is that? A Yeti?

Palmira sits on the edge of the tub until I direct her to go do something, eats ice pops in her formalwear in the rain, and goes to prom in bright green athletic gear, because that's how she rolls.

Alana had a birthday and ahhhhhh she's so cute. I so wish toddlers and children got mermaid tails.

It seems a bit barbaric the way mermaids tuck into fish when they are, um, half fish. Half cannibals, I guess. But Teodor is super excited about his [I think] clownfish that magically transformed itself into a salmon filet.

Holy crap they make those messages in bottles hard to find. I couldn't even figure out what this was a picture of for a minute.

So I gave Palmira Nouk hair because I miss Nouk. She is insane and wears her swimsuit to bed and argues with herself. She just loves her new half sister. Also, My graphics look terrible here. I need to fix my settings.

I also downloaded Ziwa Bonde by Nilxis. My first user-created world. It's fracking gorgeous. And it has zebras!

I also got Midnight Hollow, mostly for the toys and OFB content. It's neat, but I don't know how often I'll really play it. It's just so dark.

Genevieve and Teodor had a lovely beach wedding, and nobody came except for Teodor's daughter, Palmira, who is apparently a teen now, and who dresses like this.

Now that I finally have pajamas with legs and some accessories for them to interact with, it's almost like babies are tiny humans instead of occasionally crying blobs.

The sea cave woohoo resulted in a baby. Genevieve went to Teodor's place to meet his daughter for the first time and tell her about the pregnancy, so of course, she immediately went into labor while the excitable child freaked the hell out. Gen had a baby girl named Alana, after one of Ariel's sisters, per the song "Daughters of Triton." And yes, she is a mermaid.

Apparently, woohooing with your merman boyfriend in a sea cave is a great way to level up your diving skill.
