Hearing the screams, Raven winced. He held Psyche close to him as he hoped the pain will die soon. He didn’t like hearing the screams coming from the younger male. Nuzzling Psyche, he left small kisses "It will be all over soon Psyche. I’m sorry. I should have told you about this pain. So sorry…’ he muttered sadly as he hugged the male tighter. Pulling his wrist away from the other, he let his wound heal since Psyche took enough blood. It seemed the change was working even though it was painful for the human.
Looking at Psyche, he smiled sadly. He could see the pain the other was in. "Just bear through it okay. Once it is over you will be like me, love. You wont feel this pain any longer." he stated in a soft, kind voice. He was just trying to distract Psyche as best as he could. Thinking it over, he made the male look at him "Think of something you love a lot. Something happy. Anything but what your experiencing now." he stated. This helped with his replacement in his family. They said this to that kid too. It seemed to help a lot. Made the kida pass out too but, it made him not feel pain anymore. Hopefully, it would work the same for Psyche.
He clung to his lover, screams still ripping out of him. It felt like he'd swallowed something toxic and the back of his throat was burning. Along with the rest of his body. The vampire blood he had consumed had made was making its way into his bloodstream and it caused unbearable pain. He saw flashes of black, slipping in and out of consciousness for a few moments. He couldn't pass out. He had to stay awake. He had to. There seemed to be no end to this horrible pain surging through him. He kept on screaming, his throat becoming raw and his voice sounding raspy. Tears ran down his cheeks, wetting the immortal's shirt. He couldn't wait for this to end. He hoped it would soon.
The soon-to-be vampire barely registered his lover's words. It was hard to even think straight with the pain. Think of something he loves...Well that would be Raven. Or cake. Or maybe strawberries...Or just sweets in general. There were quite a lot of things he loved. Undeniably, Raven was at the top. He loved the vampire more than strawberry cake. And that was really saying something. Unawarely, he had done as his boyfriend had asked and distracted himself. This only lasted for about a minute since he felt a rather strong throb of pain. Psyche screamed again, but it sounded so raspy. He was losing his voice. It was only natural after how much and how loud he had been yelling. But that's when the pain subsided. Well only for a few minutes. Then his teeth began aching. His canines, to be exact. They were growing. Becoming sharper. And it hurt. A lot.
This time, the pain died sooner. Though the fledgling wasn't moving. And didn't seem to be breathing. He was just laying against the other vampire. He seemed almost dead. In a way, he was. Vampires did not need to breath nor did they have a heartbeat. They were the undead. A couple of seconds passed by and Psyche's eyes opened once more. They weren't the same magenta as before but they weren't crimson either. They were a more vibrant pink. He didn't seem the same as before. He seemed hungry. And he was. He craved blood. He needed blood. He didn't care who it came from either. He just needed it. Now. Noticing the figure holding him, he plunged his newly-grown fangs into Raven's neck rather hardly, beginning to suck the blood out. Unlike before, he found the blood to taste quite sweet now. A vampire's blood was quite good. He really liked it.
After taking a good bit of blood, the younger raven's eyes looked the same as they did before. And he regained control of himself. Noticing what he was doing, he quickly pulled away from his love and his fangs retracted. Magenta hues widened in shock and he put a hand over his mouth. He could have killed the other if he hadn't stopped himself. Hell, he may have nearly killed him. He wasn't sure how much blood he'd taken. "I-I'm sorry, Raven! I didn't mean to d-do that I just..Everything was a blur and I guess I was hungry..." He had to admit he'd enjoyed the taste of his beloved's blood though. He wouldn't mind having more, but that risked endangering his health so he'd refrain from doing so.
Now came the question of how to keep this a secret. And how long he could allow himself to stay in this town....How many people would he have to leave? How many did he have to lie to by faking his death? Pain stabbed at his heart. Though he knew he couldn't tell them the truth. Who knew how they would react. They may blame his lover for this. Try and attack him, saying he'd done this without Psyche's consent when that wasn't true at all. He had a couple years at most left to stay in Ikebukuro. Then he'd have to go somewhere else. He wouldn't be alone, however. That made him feel better. He would be able to stay with the other vampire. Forever. Lest something happen to one of them. "I love you, Raven..." Laying his head in the crook of the older's neck, he licked off the bit of blood seeping from the bitemarks he'd made. "I'm glad we'll be able to stay together..."
