Chocolate Berry Donuts 🍓🌿 Recipe below👇🏼 A fun vegan Valentine’s Day treat to try out❤😘 . CHOCOLATE DONUTS ​1¼ cup ​all-purpose flour ½ cup ​coconut ​sugar ⅓ cup ​cacao powder 1½ tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt ¾ cup almond milk ¼ cup dairy​-​free butter​, melted​ 2 ​tbsp​ unsweetened applesauce ​1 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp apple cider vinegar ​1. ​Preheat the oven to 350ºF. ​2. ​Mix butter, almond milk, vanilla and vinegar in a ​large ​bowl. ​3. In a separate bowl, whisk the dry ingredients​ together​ then add to wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.​ ​4. ​Spoon the ​mixture into ​a greased donut pan. Smooth out the dough ​using the back of a spoon. ​5. ​Bake for 10-12 minutes. ​L​et ​donuts completely ​cool ​before icing.

ICING

2​-3​ tbsp coconut oil​, melted​ 2​-3 ​tbsp almond milk 1 ​¾ - 2 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla ​extract Optional: Freeze dried berry powder, Cacao powder, Matcha powder, etc. ​

1. ​Mix melted coconut oil and ​almond milk and slowly begin to whisk or beat in the powdered sugar until you reach your desired consistency. Adjust liquids ​as necessary. ​2. ​Separate icing into separate bowls and mix in powder of choice until desired color + flavor is achieved. 3.​ Dip each donut in icing until well coated and place on a​ parchment-lined tray​. 4​.
