today marks the official one month anniversary for pts, so, if you've stuck with us this long, we thank you very much! it's no secret that we've dwindled way, way down in activity, and while we'd love to keep this site up and running as such, it's difficult to revive what we have with all of the clutter we've got going on, so we've decided to turn the board offline.

but this is, by no means, the end.

the original version of this site has taught us so much on what works, what doesn't work, what our members are interested in, and has shown us our own mistakes and what needs to be changed. when we created this site, we wanted to create a place that feels like home, and for us, it is home. we couldn't bear to part with pts, not when we've grown so attached to it and all of the plans we have for the future, which is why we're starting over. go big or go home, right?

if you thought we were  dead and gone then you were sorely mistaken! activity may be at a low but we're here to stay, in fact we have some very exciting things in the works that are going to be super fun! it's going to be our one month anniversary on the 8th so we figured what better way to celebrate and thank you all for sticking with us than with awards? which is where you guys come in, we want you to nominate a couple for the otp of the month and both a female and male character for the male/female of the month. 

you can't nominate your own characters or ships for this, sorry. we don't want everyone just voting for themselves or we'd never have a winner!

we, the admin, will be deciding on the final award (member of the month) ourselves. you can enter your votes now by sending a message in to the site tumblr. and if you've left the site previously now is the perfect time to bring your characters back!

hello, and welcome to streets!!!! first, we are all hella excited for all of the support we've gotten from you guys since we started buzz for the site. we were truly overwhelmed by how well the response was, and still is? it's really, really encouraging and makes us so ridiculously happy. secondly, holy hell you all make some beautiful characters. we've been stalking all of them in the tag and you guys are brilliant! with that being said, we'd like to talk about our character creation limitations. according to our rules, we require you to have two threads and a shipper for every character you make after your second, and while we still believe that rule is 100% necessary in order for this site to stay clean and organized and active, we also know that a bunch of you are intending on making more than two characters. so, with that in mind, for the next 22 hours, our character creating limitations will be lifted until 1 pm est tomorrow! make as many characters as you please, all that we ask is that you have a shipper up for each character before you go on and make another one. so in order to make character #3, characters #1 and #2 need to have shippers, and so on and so forth. let us know if you have any questions! happy character making!

what are graphic sizes?

we put all the graphic size information in the last announcement.

first off we want to thank all you babies for your continuing support and excitement in the tag. we can't wait to play with you all and really build upon this little community. so with that being said, i'm here to release all the info you'll need to know about opening and how to best be prepared for it.

first off, we will be opening tomorrow at  10 am pst/ 1 pm est / 6pm gmt.

second off, here are the image sizes as follows: the av is 250 x 375 and the gif is 200 x 120 (a rectangular gif). than for the app, the main image is 400 x 400 and the second image should be a square gif. the app will include a very basic info sheet with another tab that acts like a tracker. the second post in your app will be development based (i.e a moodboard, fashion board, drabble etc). so basically your app will be your first two post in your development board.

lastly, we wanted to briefly discuss the rules for character creation. as most of you know we have no character limit or gender ratio but we do have some hurdles you need to get over to make your next character. after your first two characters, to make your next character you need 2 threads and a shipper for each account. seems pretty simple huh?

once the initial reserve rush is over, is it ok to talk about tentative faces for other characters? :)

we’d rather you not talk about tentative face claims you plan on using in the tag, please! we don’t want anyone to feel discouraged if they plan on making a character with that face, too, you know? so to avoid any hurt feelings or off putting-ness, just stick to talking about the faces you’ve already got in the tag! <3
