Paradiso - An EGL Gala

Paradiso is a Two Day EGL event in the heart of the United States, where any Japanese Fashion enthusiast is welcome to come and experience the divinity of fashion! The event is scheduled for June 3rd & 4th, 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri.

We believe that the EGL community in the United States should be a safe place for all of its members, and that there should be more events by Lolitas, for Lolitas (and oujis and mori girls too, of course!) We aspire to be a catalyst in the movement to bring the communities of the Midwest closer together so that we may all share our love of Japanese Street Fashion with one another in a caring, supportive environment.

Paradiso 2016 includes the following activities:

Day 1:

+ Formal Tea Party + Fashion Show + Vendor Room + Consignment Shop + Photobooth + Special Talk and Q&A with JFashion and EGL icon Cadney + Crossroads District Japanese Street Fashion Walk

Day 2:

+ Exclusive tours of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art + Picnic in Kansas City’s Sculpture Park

PLEASE BE ADVISED: There WILL be an enforced dress code. All attendees must conform to our JFashion dress code. NO cosplay or steampunk coordinates will be allowed. Acceptable styles include (but are not limited to): Lolita, Ouji, Elegant Gothic Aristocrat, Mori, Fairy Kei, Cult Party Kei, and Otome Kei.

I wore this to my comm’s first monthly meet-up of the year! I’ve been so bad at attending because of work, but I’m glad I was finally able to go and catch up with friends. I finally got my hands on this release during the Chocolate Rosette rerelease bloodbath so I was more than excited to wear it to start the year right. :)
