The ultimate meditation is: surrender to reality. The more you fight, the more you are in conflict with it, the more you will be a loser. In deep surrender, the ego disappears. And when the ego is not there, for the first time you become aware of that which has always been there.

Who inspires you to travel?
Ida Pfeiffer was an Austrian travel writer and one of the first female explorers. After successful publications of her accounts of her journey along the Danube River and into Egypt, followed by Scandinavia and Iceland, Pfeiffer was able to travel around the world twice in the mid-nineteenth century. Her travels are detailed in ‘A Woman’s Journey round the World’ and 'Second Journey round the World’, where she explored South America, Asia, the South Pacific, North America, and South Africa. Happy #ArborDay– let’s celebrate the importance of trees!
Arbor Day is an annual observance that celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and care. The first holiday observance of Arbor Day was in 1872, when more than one million trees were planted in Nebraska. Much like the first celebration of Arbor Day, trees planted on Arbor Day today are done for the benefit of future generations. The simple act of planting a tree represents a belief that the tree will grow and, some day, provide wood products, wildlife habitat, erosion control, shelter from the wind and sun, beauty, and inspiration for ourselves and our children.
Plant a tree today and enjoy what trees on your public lands have to offer!
What movies make you feel like traveling? Here are some of our favorite ones!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
