today in mexico. it's día de muertos, a day where we celebrate and remember all our loved ones that have passed. dear cc @savebylou gave me a drawing idea and of course i had to do it🤧mightve cried a bit but it was also a very nice process, making my little ofrenda for liam. i will miss him so much forever, i'm sending the biggest hug to him and his family (y a tí cc!) 🫂

Give credit to gif makers and embed gifs video tutorial.

This post talks about why is important to give credit, making gifs takes hours/days and taking 5 min to follow a tutorial of how to proper give credit I think is something more people could do on tumblr.

I get that people don't know to embed gifs but this image/text tutorial made by @sheisraging explains how to do it in a computer and below is a video tutorial to do it on your phone (based on that post). If you follow the tutorial: the gif maker is aware that you use their gif, gives credit and links it to their original post.

I recommend to read this post made by @ninzied talking about what happens when a gif maker sees there gif posted by other people without credit.

Video tutorial how to embed gifs.

I did this for a phone browser but the process is similar in the computer. Sadly you can't do this on the app.

This same process can apply to an ask, if you want to use a specific gif for a reaction you do the same steps except this time instead of a new post you do it on the draft of the ask.

If anyone has more questions or wants me to do the video tutorial on the computer let me know.

Gif makers take time and effort to make gifs about fandom, lets show appreciation not only reblogging their posts but also giving credit properly if you want to use their gifs.
