🐺- if you read my other RPs, my monster oc (brightella) can turn human for clarification XP and this is my first time Rping with you :D

*Brightella and her bright yellow outfit walk around the circus. She hadn't expected anyone new since it was just Jester, Harlequin, Peirott, Ticket Taker, her, and doctor, but she came across a new tent.*

"what new person do we have today?~"

*she opens the tent and walks in. It's dark like doctors but something feels.. off. She doesn't know if it's just because she hasn't eaten in a while or if it's... Something else. She looks around her eyes glowing*

Puppeteer hides within the darker corners of their tent. They watch closely trying to find any malicious intent within her movements or how she carries herself. When she looks over at where they were but then proceeded to move they tensed up she had either not seen them or was pretending not to. They slowly stalked through their tent trying to get to their personal quarters which was attached. They had very few things of value but would prefer the one thing they did have to remain a secret.

*she hears a sound and almost immediately grabs him by the nap of the neck like a mother cat would with a kitten*

"well hello there little one~ don't worry I don't bite.. much. Say what's your name?~ my name is Brightella but you can call me Ella"

*she sets him down with uncanny gentleness, her eyes shine brighter as she looks at the height difference between the two. Shes a foot taller than Doctor and Peirott. Worried she might scare the small one she snaps and changes into her human form, it's almost the same height as him, just 2 feet taller..*

They are taken aback by the action. They look anywhere but at her finding that trying to escape would be worse than just answering her.

“you can call me Puppeteer”

their voice is gravelly and hard to understand. They haven’t spoken in a while and it is strange for them to do so now.

(is now a good time to mention at full height they stand at 7 ft they are a tall but very shy lol)

🐺- oh... Damn I guess she's... 2 feet under him her human form is 5'5 but still in her monster form she towers over Doctor

"well that's a cute name for a cutie~"

*she says in a flirty tone, but then she always has a flirt in her voice*

"say.. what do you do in the fine circus?"

*she says "fine" a little slower, was she lying about it being fine? she circles around him, her eyes glowing as she tries to hypnosis him to say the truth*

They were familiar with hypnosis they think back at what they really do. They aren’t permitted to go off the circus grounds and are advised to try and keep speaking to a minimum.

“Nothing…”

their voice trails off as they admit it to both her and themself they truly felt useless in the circus. They didn’t cook like Pierrot and didn’t run anything like Jester or ticket taker, couldn’t treat wounds like doctor and cannot do anything to really attract visitors like Harlequin. Their talents lie elsewhere but with nowhere else to go they are stuck being an outcast in the circus full of outcasts

"aww darling~"

*I poof in a yellow cloud of smoke with stars and planets and appear in front of him in my monster form*

"everyone has a purpose you just have to find it!"

*she picks him up and puts him on her shoulders*

"don't worry I won't drop you but I'm taking you somewhere cool!"

*I take him out of the tent and head towards mine*

They panic not expecting to be picked up. Once they saw where they were heading they relaxed slightly but were still on edge. Once they were set down they let out a small squeak which made them flustered. They looked around trying to take in their surroundings

*my tent has a rather cozy vibe to it with fairy lights strung around and a little book corner with bean bags and snacks*

"welcome to my tent! It's for when little kids get scared or even adults, they can come in here and chill. Especially for kids with autism, I know how that goes"

*she looks rather sympathetic as she talks about autism*

"anyways here I plan tricks with Harlequin, run experiments with doctor or just anything in between! Make yourself feel home!"

*I walk off into a separate part as he looks around*

they look around poking at the bean bags and books. They couldn’t read most of the titles but they knew enough to tell what they were about from the style of the cover. Most were obviously geared towards younger audiences with bright colors and some were thicker with more monotoned or sophisticated styles. They picked one out and just looked at the illustrations that were on every few pages Puppeteer took a liking to the drawings. They were quite detailed and it brought them some sort of peace seeing how certain the lines were.

(Puppeteer is dyslexic that’s why they can’t read the covers very well. They are too shy to ask someone for help so they taught themselves to read a little bit. They enjoy but can’t read more intermediate books. There is no need for these lore drops that no one asked for but here we are)

"I can tell you don't like talking, or aren't allowed to. But I brought some markers and crayons to tell me through drawings!"

*I sit in front of him and set the stuff down, letting him go at his pace*

they had never considered drawing they weren’t mute or not allowed to talk it just became a habit for them to keep quiet. They slowly write out a small “hello” in the corner on the page trying not to take up too much space. Their handwriting wasn’t the best but it was still legible

A tall figure waits just outside your tent. They don’t usually come out of their tent and when they do it’s only for brief moments. Puppeteer tried to slip out unnoticed taking the risk of the populated circus. They were stopped by a small group of people asking them to do small tricks and things like that. They didn’t like talking to others and even if they did try to talk their way out of this they fear their voice is worn down from not being used in so long. They had never known the one the others referred to as their “angel” they were always kept separated from the others back then. Very few times they were even scheduled to perform before they started the circus. Even now they don’t show up to meals and when they did they stayed in the back and waited till everyone was done to scavenge for whatever was left over.

Has the little mouse finally decided to show up?

They cautiously enter the tent crouching down slightly so they would be eye level with Jester. Their silence is almost unnerving as they watch him. They take off their hat and present it to him trying to show him the tear that has been exposing one of their large horns.

“it ripped…”

they offered it to Jester hoping he could fix it. They had their own sowing supplies but none of which they needed they were running low on string anyway so they thought it would be slightly easier to just ask for help.

(I didn’t know there was another Puppeteer lol)

*he took their hat from them.* Come my child. *He leads them into his tent and into his chamber.* Sit on the bed. I will fix this for you.

they trot over and lay on his bed. They curled up on top of the sheets trying to get comfortable. They watched as he repaired their hat. They wish they could do something in return but there is no talent they have that is worth while

where have you been? You were quiet as of late

they look down at their feet. They didn’t want to explain to him that they just feel in the way so try to just hide instead. Clearly they had been thinking for a considerable amount of time because Jester was obviously growing impatient

*he finishes their hat* well? I'm waiting.

They lower their head trying to avoid Jester’s gaze

“Nowhere…. Important”

they have simply been hiding in their tent only coming out when it was needed. They had obviously grown thinner since they last saw Jester but that was something Puppeteer easily forgot about

Puppeteer tried to slip out unnoticed taking the risk of the populated circus. They were stopped by a small group of people asking them to do small tricks and things like that. They didn’t like talking to others and even if they did try to talk their way out of this they fear their voice is worn down from not being used in so long. They had never known the one the others referred to as their “angel” they were always kept separated from the others back then. Very few times they were even scheduled to perform before they started the circus. Even now they don’t show up to meals and when they did they stayed in the back and waited till everyone was done to scavenge for whatever was left over.
