mane 6 redesign

lil explanation for my decisions

pinkie: i really like her g3 design so it’s basically just that, plus i made her a pegasus! let her zoom around the arial plane.

twilight: i thought it would be interesting if she’s still really passionate abt magic while being an earth pony. gave her glasses and a bag to carry books and quills n such.

flutters: green!! green was missing in the group and it always bothered me when i was little. wanted her to look mossy. also she’s an earth pony now but really wants to be a pegasus. especially loves flight animals. she’s wearing costume wings and antennas.

applejack: i really love her actual design so i didn’t change much. just wanted to add some red to her pallet. braided her hair, which is supposed to look like apples!

rarity: twilight is already the purple pony there can’t be 2. i also drew her red glasses she sometimes wears in the show, looked cute but decided seeing her lashes was more important. i originally had her hair like a deep wine red but ultimately ended on the light pink. but red velvet cheesecake rarity stays on my mind ,, ,

rainbow dash: always thought her hair should be pushed out of her face and short. most of these decisions are just my 9 year old self’s thoughts, and she’s so right! changed her rainbow slightly as well, kinda reminds me of the colors of stars now! and finally some goggles to protect her eyes when flying :0)
