‘Split in Two” Concrete Pendents

Designed by Dror Kaspi of Ardoma Design, are these concrete and aluminum lights that come in two variations, a pendant light, called Split, and a table lamp, called Release. The design of the partially split concrete cylinder reveals a glowing light from the inside, which was intended to demonstrate the contrast between the roughness of concrete and softness of light.

My political poster idea is based on the wall that Trump threatened to build. The picture on the right is a cover from The New Yorker magazine. The brilliant idea of covering information from the "still-building" wall has a big impact on the reader because now the reader doesn't know what is happening behind the "wall". All the information that is covered up gives the readers a sense that walls built at the wrong place results to bad consequences. The comic on the left is about how Trump said explicitly that Mexico is going to pay for all the payment for building the wall. It's simple and straight to the point and with a slight of humor in it too.
