tbh ive been feeling kinda weird bc usually when i listen to her she gets me all :))) and i thought maybe i could still enjoy her music but it definitely made me feel some type of way /: it was hard to jam /:

I don’t think the situation is as bad as people are making it out to be there’s a lot of assumptions. I don’t think it just her being “racist” it seems like it may be something she gets off on as in she likes attention from those people. It was something that shouldn’t have been exposed but she was being dumb

i think i can agree and also disagree with you here.

in one sense, you’re right about people and the tendencies of “cancel culture” - it often blows things out of proportion

however, the evidence against her so far is pretty damning. at the end of the day, she was racist, regardless of motive. she’s a role model to so many people so i think that’s why it hits especially hard, but in my opinion she’s definitely in the wrong.

it’s been a mixture of things, nothing particularly flattering towards her. i would read everything quite carefully, i think in an era of cancel culture it’s super important to make sure you’re informed before you make your own judgement. x
