my dad is a doctor, has all sorts of degrees and education and knows his shit about medicine and says that trans ppl ruin their health with hormones, and that T puts a lot of stress on your arteries and the rest of your body etc etc etc. :( so he wont let me transition because he said id likely die earlier. he's done his research to back it up and im just really worried. is there any1 here who's on T that can attest to any health effects

(I can add that the nurse who gave me my last T shot said she’s so glad that testosterone gives so few side effects and works so well with people’s bodies, and said it does so because it’s a hormone that we all naturally have in our bodies, just at different levels. 

People on T are just fine. Besides, if it were true that T makes you die earlier or whatever, is a longer life lived in pain and dysphoria, and all that can come with that - depression, anxiety, self harm etc - really worth those extra years? Hmm.)
