i will still be popping in! i just felt like i had to face the fact that i don’t enjoy writing as much as i used to. but i will still be here, i can’t determine how often but i dont have any plans to abandon this account
i’ve been deciding what i want to do with this blog for the past couple of months.
for a while i could feel myself slipping away from cnco/the fandom. i dont hate them or plan to unstan! i just have no motivation or energy to keep up with them as much as i used to.
i was looking at all the works i had planned for cnco, how i planned everything out, and how i was super excited to write them. and about a month ago, i tried to sit and write a fic i had planned for chris...everything i wrote, i absolutely hated.
i love cnco and all the friends i have made through them from the bottom of my heart. however, i have no desire to continue writing for them.
i wont delete the fics i have already posted or delete this blog. but i do want to thank everyone who enjoyed my writing, it truly meant the world to me. i’m sorry my passion has faded but all the love and support i got from you guys really made me feel like i ought to give you guys an explanation as to why im so inactive.
uhh this is kinda dramatic but to put it simple: i will no longer be writing for cnco but i still support them
You may have heard of what happened in Lebanon today and if not, basically, there was a big explosion in Beirut that affected many cities, destroyed shops, homes, cars, caused many injuries and deaths. The cause is uncertain.
As a fellow lebanese myself (that also lives there), today was absolutely terrifying, probably the scariest moments of my life. We heard a deafening sound as the floors were shaking. Some of us thought it was an attack, others thought it was an earthquake. As soon as it ended many expected a second one, which luckily never happened.

Windows were broken, doors wrecked, cars flipped over, buildings collapsed, people hit by flying or falling objects, and unfortunately, many didn't make it out alive.
We were one of the lucky ones, our families and friends were all safe and our homes were fine.
Some people couldn't even get out of the crumbling builings, so we saw corpses being pulled out, although some people survived the crash. But wherever we looked, there was blood, poeple were half covered in it, their shirts, pants, hair, everything. And that sight was traumatizing.
We watched the news with elders severely injured, children with blood-spattered shirts and people in pain that couldn't get in the hospitals because they were full.
Some people are missing. Just try to imagine the pain and fear their families and friends are feeling.

Not only are we in the middle of a pandemic, but Lebanon is also going through a very serious economical crisis. To give you an example, before, $1 equaled 1 500 lebanese pounds. Nowadays, $1 equals more than 7 000 lebanese pounds. Not to mention that we obviously don't have any dollars at disposition, so yeah we're fucked.
People are hungry, homeless, unemployed. And even if they are getting paid, it'll be useless since the prices of everything went up because they were affected by the economical fiasco.
Important additional information
Today, I heard my 7 year old cousins scream in fear that they were going to die. I saw my aunt shaking, worried that her children won't survive. I saw my dad freak out while trying to reassure us when we both knew that we were uncertain about the next minutes of our lives. I heard the panic in the trembling voices of my family and friends as they couldn't believe what had just happened. I thought my loved ones and I were going to die in the next seconds.
I'm never forgetting those moments and feelings.
I don't think signing petitions will help, i don't even know if the following links will help either, I just know Lebanon and it's people are desperate for anything because the future of this country is extremely uncertain.

@babyyatusabes - never the first to attack, but would rather hide & lie in wait with richard from district 11. He seemed cool at first but his spelling pissed you off & just as you decided you were about to gut him you were distracted & someone else got to you first :( richard makes it though
@hectorbeyerin - trained really well in district 1 but never liked the idea of killing. #1 world peace representative of district 1! so much so the capital didn’t like it & executed you personally :( district 12 thought you were cool
@richukisbb - had a secret love affair with Richard from district 11. too busy making out to notice the killer approaching :( you died after getting dicked down which was the best of your life so you were cool
@cncothoughts - super stealthy & good at hiding. The problem was you teamed up with a giant from district 2, zabdiel, & he blew your cover. :( you weren’t sad though you died watching a demigod
@pretendcnco - you’re the smallest of them all so you’re super good at hiding! The one time you come out tho a team that is running away from another accidentally topples you over bc they don’t see you & you are killed by the stampede :( they felt bad for you & came back & gave you a proper burial tho
@cncopmhoe - you’re good with a bow & arrow so you found a high vantage point, took out the weed you snuck in, & chilled. you got too chill though & someone ended up overpowering you. :( they left your weed though & the team of @yatusabess & @ctrlcnco took it
@virgatto - idk if you ever killed anyone but you definitely kicked some butts on your way. You teamed up with a guy named Joel from district 12 which was cool. He made friends with a dingbat from district 3, Johann, but you didn’t say shit bc there’s power in numbers. You died bc stupid johann made a fire to keep you all warm & the smoke alerted the other teams :( you did good though you made it far with a hot man so no regrets from you but Johann made it out alive
@anninhiliation - first death of a killer!! maybe only one or two kills. dies at the hands of fighting a slightly more skilled killer from district 4 chris :( he was hot though so you may have let him win so you could see his muscles ripple.
@mepuserojito - you’re tougher than you look & no one expected you to make it this far, but you did. Probably would’ve won too if you didn’t run out of food :( died of hunger but still pure so you were ok w that
@yatusabess - first kill was johann from district 3 bc he was annoying. next was chris from district 4 bc he had long hair & he wouldn’t cut it. Spilled tea to all the other tributes in exchange for food or weapons. Died bc one of your tribute dealers stabbed you in the back literally :( don’t worry he left your weed so you could rest in peace

@ctrlcnco - u lost your wife so you were heartbroken. In her honor you buried all your weed with her body. The heartbreak killed you :( whether the heartbreak was from losing @yatusabess or the lack of weed the capital will never know
@quierick - you made it this far bc you found a cave or something & decided to hibernate for 8 years. The capital was amazed by how you required no food or water, just naps. Someone finds you in the end tho :( in your honor, the capital decides to look into the health benefits of napping
@sunkissedvelez - winner of the hunger games, but not by vicious killings. Got into the mind of her teammates she was with into killing for her before they eventually got killed on their own. Didn’t even have to lift a finger. :) she was sad to see the cute boy chris from district 4 go but she didn’t like his long hair either.
