I’ve been a garbage updater but here it goes.

Didn’t win the board position at derby, turns out I’m wildly okay with it.

Didn’t get the OPM job, not as okay with that. Thrilled for Danielle, sad for me.

Managed to land a job as the legislative liaison for the department of agriculture and it has been a hurricane so far- I’m three weeks in.

Made the bedrockers AND the charter.

Possible torn MCL, doctors appointment on Thursday but I’ve been off skates for seven practices so far and It sucks.

Making some homeowner decisions.

I’m down, really down and I’m doing a phenomenal job at hiding it.

Quick update. Ran for the board of my derby league in the ONLY contested spot against someone I’m sorta friends with. Poll closes at midnight and I really don’t think I win.

Second to last NES board meeting tonight and I don’t have feelings.

Hips real mad a lot and that’s hard to deal with.

New job interview tomorrow and I’m scared they’ll find out I’m a fraud and not as smart as I’ve tricked people into thinking I am. Aghhhh

Giant salad for dinner and even though I want chocolate, I’m going to go to bed without it because that always makes me feel gross so if I still want it in a day or two, I’ll buy the good stuff and let myself have it.

Meal prep madness

So, I swore up and down that today, October 14, I was getting my diet back in order. I hate the way I’m feeling. So I prepped: I made protein bowls for after practice and tomorrow at work lunch. I have dinner things for tomorrow as well.

I want to weigh myself and take measurements but I think that’ll stress me out so maybe I’ll wait and see how it does.

I bought some premaid things for bad days and low cal soup for when it’s cold and/or when depression hits and I’ll double down on popcorn for a snack.

And then the end of the year party happening and gory made me a gorgeous mask. I got a necklace with my number on it and now it’s done. I don’t know what next year is going to look like but I’ll figure it out.

I randomly won the lottery for mean girls on broadway and was surprised to see some cast members I hadn’t been following for years. Luckily, weird uncle bill was willing to take a surprise half day and adventure with me

Okay so maybe playing in a game, wearing heels and dancing at the wedding wasn’t the BEST thing for my ankle but I’m okay with my choices. Gotta let it rest a little now though.

Dynasty plus a few

Last bout of the year with Hartford, still one to go with western mass. I’ve been pretty bad about writing because I don’t ever know if what I’m saying is enough:

I reffed the wailers game and feel like I’m sorting myself out as a referee. While I like opr, I do think I’d like to spend a lot more time Jam reffing so maybe I’ll work on that at scrimmages when I’m able. I didn’t call too many penalties but the ones I did call I was really sure about. I hated the way I looked reffing but I’m hating that anyway so 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Then my last game with the bedrockers this year. I played mostly with crafty, which I love because we compliment each other well: knight and Smount had their first games and did great. I now know what I probably did to everyone during my first game though and I’m sorry for the bruises. We lost but that wasn’t a shock. We don’t play together and maybe it’s me but the team has no cohesion. We do figure things out by the second half but we don’t rely on each other. Can’t imagine whyyy (read into the sarcasm)

All in all, first season sort of in the books. I’ve learned a lot and still have a lot to learn but..I started this season as princess Rabiesface, am leaving it as Rabies and Epi penalty and we’ll see where I go from here.
