Hi! What songs do you reckon are written for or about louis and Harry?
this is longer than expected probably bc this is really analytical.
i’m not really sure if anything from uan is about louis and harry.
but for tmh; I think irresistible, truly madly deeply, and they don’t know about us is about them.
i think back for you was for harry, by louis since louis’ solo seems solely dedicated to harry as in “i’ve never been so into somebody before, and everytime we both touch i only want more” then there’s the “cause even though every night, you’ll hear what i’ll say, goodbye.” like as if that’s his goodbye to harry for the night before he goes out for a pr date.
for midnight memories; strong was for harry, by louis. happily was for louis, by harry. something great was for louis, by harry. i have a feeling that maybe alive might have been for the both of them, but that’s if you change the pronouns to he instead of she, but i’m half half about that.
for FOUR; no control for harry, by louis. 18 for the both of them.
fool’s gold while not something for louis, like as past experience’s, but something for louis as a gift saying that he will always love louis even if things grow difficult between them.
lthe narrative of fool’s gold in my point of view is that harry is really in love with louis, but the “used me from the day that we first met” is the person maybe harry doesn’t want louis to ever become, then harry sings “but i’m not done yet, falling for you, fool’s gold” which i think is the same as saying “i will always love you even if you do this, and i’ll continue falling in love with you even when we’ve split.”
ready to run i think is about them as well, only because harry and louis are the only one’s who say “we” in the entire song, so it’s about them ready to escape into the future and live with themselves out and about.
fireproof is for the both of them, or maybe for harry by louis, because hey they’re both capable to keep each other safe. x
