CPCS is an industry standard identification card which demonstrates that an individual has the necessary skills and knowledge to work as a plant operator
One of the elements associated with the CPCS training is health and safety awareness. In 2016/17 the construction industry accounted for the most fatal injuries to workers in the UK. Any operative looking to achieve or renew their CPCS card must have completed a valid health, safety and environment test within the last 2 years. This demonstrates to employers that you are a safe and competent worker.
The CPCS training provides workers with the knowledge and skills to safely operate plant machinery. Workers who have achieved the Trainer Operator car can prove to employers that they have core skills, knowledge and understanding that can be applied in the workplace.
