HISTORY

Childhood/Family Life: Rory and his sisters were brought up in a loving home. Both Bonnie and Damon made sure that their children were installed with the belief that they could do whatever they wanted. That they were capable of taking on the world. Rory always felt a little bit like the gooseberry of the family but not by the fault of anyone other than himself. He was aware from a very young age that he was gay and he struggled to fit in at school. So when his powers started to surface and make him feel more like a ‘freak’, even though the other kids didn’t actually know about them, Rory started to resent the abilities he had. Education: Rory finished High School but decided against pursuing further education deciding instead that for him to pursue his passion for art that he just had to start on creating work. Now that they are all back in Mystic Falls Rory is now considering going back to college, he knows that getting to study art and hone his skills would only make him better.  Regrets: Rory regrets not going straight into further education when he finished school but he tries not to think about it too much. He also regrets the feelings he currently holds for his mother, especially now with everything that has happened since returning Mystic Falls. He also regrets the way he ended his one long real relationship in his life, Rory pushed them away and ended it because he was scared.  

Secrets: Rory has never told anyone about his feelings towards being a witch, he would much rather just be ‘normal’ than be blessed with these powers. He’s also worried about the side of his father that he has heard stories about and if he’s gained any of that.

Siblings: Rory is the middle child and the only boy. He is a very loving sibling and would do anything for both of his sisters. He isn’t one for confrontation but he will fight anyone for them.
