This is pretty late notice, but today I’m launching the sixth issue of This is the Same Ocean as part of the Heavy Time Institute at the RVCA Corner Gallery in Melbourne. This issue features the work of Lola Paprocka, Shannon May Powell, Heikki Kaski, Tine Bek, Victoria Zschommler and myself. It’s a strong issue.

Just over a year ago, I travelled by motorbike along the border of India and Tibet with three of my favourite people. I wrote a piece about it for the latest issue of Paper Sea Quarterly, which is out now.

Honoured and elated to have been awarded the Judge’s Panel Grand Prize at the 2016 IPF Photo Prize. To be selected from such a strong pool of work by a panel consisting of a bunch of people I hold in very high regard has really touched me. Shout outs to Joe and the hard working IPF crew for another killer festival.

Rory McPike, Maryos Syawish, Corey Kikos and Cale Sexton shot at Beverley Hills, Melbourne, for a Butter Sessions feature in Zweikommasieben issue 13. 

Tonight Cale Sexton launches his debut EP on Butter Sessions which, coincidentally, features the saxophone playing of yours truly on the B1. Skydiver Records, Johnston Street, Collingwood. 6 - 10pm.

I shot the covers and the middle spread for the second issue of Fireflies, a new film journal that each issue focuses on the work of two directors. This issue looks at the work of Bela Tarr and Abbas Kiarostami. In real life the text on the cover is reflective silver and actually readable, don’t let the image above irk you.
