I was talking with a friend yesterday. She was telling me that has been testing for her business and had run into an unusually difficult test. Teach the truth about God and civics
To this day I tend to say yes maāam and no maāam in response to conversations. It was taught to me by my father from the time I was very young. I learned and I have kept what was taught me always. The interesting thing about teaching is that if it is taught continually, that ideal of thought remains. Responding maāam and sir seems to have gone out of style and I think thatās too bad. Coming home from Hot Springs this week, we encountered a car ahead of us that was driving about 30-35 miles and hour. For a long way. I saw this weird little short movie/commercial yesterday. It was about a machine that could tell what you would die of. A young woman walked up to the machine, put in a quarter and then stuck her index finger in the machine. It actually pricked her finger and used the blood sample to predict her information. Laugh It Off!
Last weekend hubby and I picked up a washer and dryer. Turns out the sellers are related to a friend of ours in Mississippi. Small world. We got the set loaded and headed for home. It looked like rain, so we stopped and hubby got a tarp to put on top of them. About time he got back to the truck, the bottom fell out. We both ended up soaked to the bone!
