This was truly nice after such a long time. So many years to say the least it was weird being back home in Alabasta the last time Adelaide was here was back in those childhood days before being pulled and moved away by the man who was her father. Yet she took her time choose to live the life on the sea for sometime but now she was back not planning to leave any time soon cause this was her true home.
From what she could tell not much had changed beside one building that looked at one point, could of been a casino though she could of been wrong since it was currently being worked on so who knew what that place could of been with a short shrug of her shoulders deciding to move onto the place. It quite a bit to find the market having ask a around to know just where exactly it was moved to.
Upon arriving to the market looking at each stall taking her time to look around a small huff coming from her, having a bit of hard time finding the fruit she was looking. Pink hues peering around landing on a tall man at the one of the stalls across from her maybe if she asked him he could possibly help her find what she was looking for.
“Excuse me i don’t mean to bother you but i wanted to know if you could possibly help me find something.”
After all the problem that there was in Arabasta with Crocodile, it was a matter of gradually rebuilding it. He had been in charge of rebuilding Yuba with his father and patrolling the streets of Arubarna a little on the days he was there. It was hard work, but he was willing to do it in order to regain the beauty of that kingdom.
It was a hard couple of days, and since his father was already an older man, he offered to go to Arubarna, to one of its largest markets, to gather food supplies, and incidentally, to see how things were going there.
He was going through the market list when a voice brought him to reality. He turned to see where it came from and responded with the greatest kindness
"Of course, tell me, what were you looking for? I'm not from here but I come here very often, maybe I can help you" He hadn't really recognized her at first, they had been parted ways many years ago and, obviously, they had both grown a lot.

Koza nodded slightly before putting a hand on her back and guiding her quickly in front of him, just to protect her in case the storm came before they took cover. After walking a few meters, he indicated where they would take refuge. It was a fairly secure structure and there were other people. Luckily, it was large enough for everyone to enter without invading each other's personal space. He made sure that she entered first and then he entered, a few seconds before the storm reached them.

The sandstorm had quickly reached the town, luckily, those who were already used to it, managed to find a safe place quickly. He looked around, searching if there was still someone without shelter, and there he saw her. She was alone and didn’t seem to be familiar with the place. He quickly moved closer and stood between her and the sandstorm, using his body as a shield. He quickly took off his scarft and handed it to her “Use it to cover your face” He stayed that way until it seemed to stop for a bit, however, knowing that this could be heavy again, he tried to take her to a safe place “Come with me, I’ll take you to a safer place ”
It was Kyana’s first time in the desert kingdom and she wasn’t the best prepared. They had warned her of the possible sandstorms but she didn’t think she would be caught up in one. It almost swept her away.
Luckily, a man came and grabbed her, handing her a scarf to protect her face from the stinging sand. She nodded to his suggestion, giving a muffled, “Thank you.” before following him somewhere into shelter. Once inside, the lowered the scarf with a sigh of relief. “Thank you. I um…didn’t expect to be caught up in the storm so quickly.”
He took her to the first safe place he found, behind a corner that used to be a wall of some building a while ago. He gently brushed off the sand trapped in his hair and brushed the sand off his coat, then gave the woman a quick look.
"Sometimes these storms can be treacherous, we will have to stay here until we are sure it has passed" she smiled slightly, at least from the outside, she seemed to be fine. He sighed in relief that he had arrived in time before something happened to her "Are you okay? The sand can feel like needles in your body when hit hard... are you hurt?"

Koza can't help but laugh slightly at her words "Suspicious?" He knew that he could suddenly seem more suspicious than the people he wanted to know more about, but it was fine, after what happened in Alubarna he wanted to be sure. Touch was something he was going to learn over time. "Don't put words in my mouth that I haven't said. Also, you're the first person to complain about it, so if you feel suspicious in any way, be defensive doesn't helps you"
Hearing her brief explanation of who she was, he couldn't help but easily connect her to Crocodile, which gave him a bad feeling, at least at first, although he was trying not to judge people so harshly when he barely knew them...
"Excuse me, was your words a kind of warning or threat?" Definitely nothing good could come from someone who was connected to him, so he knew that he would not be able to let his guard down with her, however, he also had nothing to accuse her of, so he decided to leave her alone for the moment.
“I’ve never seen you around here before. What’s your name?”
Not that he wants to doubt everyone who wants to visit Arabasta Kingdom. Being an island of the Grand Line, it was sure that it would be full of pirates just passing by, however, it wasn't bad to know the people who decided to stay there, in case a disturbance occurs and he have to identify someone quickly
Being suddenly asked to introduce herself did cause the petite woman to slightly flinch like some frightened rabbit. Then again, seeing that he was most likely a native to the island he had all the rights to wonder who was she, a foreigner suddenly stepping on the island.
“Ohh I’m sorry... my name is Nessa Lumen..im but a traveler and a writer in a way....who may you be sir?
Of course there was a small white lie in that statement of hers, mainly for her own safety she couldn't really say who she was. Also it was much easier to gather information and observe some situations if one was to blend into the surroundings. But it seems this man had rather sharp eyes...
Noticing her reaction, he backed away a bit, sometimes realizing late that, perhaps, he was very direct. However there was something strange, he still couldn't understand what, but he felt that maybe, her words were not entirely honest, however, there was nothing to accuse her of, so he just introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Nessa, I'm Koza, I'm in charge of rebuilding Yuba with my father and I like to take a look at how things are going in Arubarna from time to time, if there's anything I can help you with, don't hesitate in telling me"
His words were honest, yet he wanted to watch her closely. Not that after what happened with Crocodile left him half paranoid, but just in case. "Writer? Are you planning to write a book about your travels, or something like that?"

After a well-deserved break in his place, it was time to get on with his work. He stretched out his arms and got up before stepping out into the sun again. There he saw him. He was standing there, his side quite exposed from having a hand tucked under his shirt. He should be careful if he was bitten by a weirdo, maybe go to a doctor if it becomes a problem, well, something that he will know how to solve, he supposes... He closed his eyes and shook his head, it was time to keep working.

Koza likes a woman who knows how to defend herself. As much as he loves being the one who can defend her, there is nothing that drives him crazier than seeing her standing firmly on the ground, that she can't be easily bent, and that she can fight alongside him.
