Been into cheesy isekai/reincarnation manhwas lately (romance obvi), and I’ve been binging “The S-Class lady doesn’t want to be a villainess”, and I was so into it. Like, I would read this on my break and then realize that I accidentally took a 3 hour break lol. That good!

But, I’ve just hit chapter 54 I think, and they’ve introduced this secret society/illuminati thing going on, and it instantly took me out it. Secret societies planning coups just really……idk feels out of nowhere unless it’s the whole point of the story.

And I guess since this is a manhwa it’s still pretty early in the story, but idk kinda made me lose interest.

You ever read a fic or something that leaves you kinda just……fed up? That’s what I’m feeling right now, fed up.

And, just to add to my frustration, this fic is well beloved. All the notes are raving about it, and there’s not a single comment maybe questioning it, maybe showing a little “hm, that kind pmo”

I read the tags, I did, I knew so I can’t really complain, but the suggestions from other people? That was misleading. The summary? Misleading. That was not happy. There was no happy ending, and if you think that ending is feasible in those circumstances then you’re wrong. And stupid.

You’re trying to tell me, that she got kidnapped, beaten, humiliated, put on display for the whole village, he forced himself on her (making her beg for it btw which was labeled as dub-con), and it’s a happy ending after all that?

She gets constantly degraded, and humiliated by him and the whole village, and it gets a happy ending? She gets broken down, and loses all her fight, but it’s a happy ending? She has no idea if her family is alive, but this man can do all this to her, and get a happy ending?

At one point, she has the chance to let him die, and she saves him?

He goes and gets her family, and maybe just the whole remaining living members of her village for their wedding, and that makes up for everything? That one action? Which is basically just more kidnapping?

Oh, and everyone around her, including her family and friends, are completely okay with all of this. They just arrived after being kidnapped, are immediately seated at a wedding (literally immediately), and everyone is okay with it? Her father is walking her down the aisle to the man who has completely tormented, and broken her. Right….and that’s the happy ending? I’m supposed to believe that she wanted any of that? None of that was happy.

In no moment was there ever a moment that clearly, or even very subtlety, suggested that she began to like this man. And who could? After all that?

The only one who got a happy ending was the terrible, horrible, no good man, and maybe not even him, because it’s stated that he took her for her pride and fire, and now it’s left her. Because of him. So, whole lot of good that was I guess.

This was a horrible experience , honestly, and all I am now is mad, and lacking sleep.

It was well-written, I’ll give it that. But gees man. Better tags, I think. It was not dub-con, or a happy ending. He did not apologize, and if anything this was an angst fic, not a spicy little romance. I’m actually a little disgusted ngl.

Buggy was hella hyped up to me as a selling point in watching this train wreck, so I forced myself to gag and choke through these episodes until I got to him. Idk why it worked.

Final thoughts are muddled. Didn’t like the lore drop, didn’t like that there was zero clowns. I did like that Nami stole those freaks’ ship. Obviously Luffy is dumb af, and Zoro is walking a tightrope rn between ew and cool. Still not totally sure where Nami stands. Probably somewhere in the middle of the sea.

We’re getting close to Buggy, I can feel it in my nuggets. I’m very terrified to have my idea of what he’s going to look like (BigTop Burgers) shattered. That voice at the end, I’m praying to jebus that’s not his. That is not a happy clown like voice.

I really did not want to watch this. Like, I hate this more than anything in the world, and I can’t believe I let them badger me into watching it.

Murderdrones Ep1

Kinda cheesy

Animation looks really good, almost so good that it annoys me a little bit.

The characters are too explanation based. Nothing is left to interpretation.

Characters are total tropes.

Definitely something I would’ve loved and made my whole personality in middle school.

If the muderdrones have such an op move, why don’t they use it first thing?

Nothing is serious. Everything is made into a joke, or had some sort of comedic kick.

Crazy wack way to end the first ep. Didn’t really make sense, felt out of nowhere

All in all I don’t like it. I don’t think I’ll like it at all, I don’t get the story, but he swears that it’ll get better in the end. There’s only 8 episodes too, so it won’t be so bad.
