I'm Regulus Arcturus Black, otherwise known as Reg, yeah that's the one. Just don't add the word 'little' in there or call me anything like Regington or Regworth. I will hex you. I'm a 5th year Slytherin. Cousin to Andy, Narcissa and Bellatrix Black. Brother to Sirius. I'm really not that bad so give me a chance. And did I mention that I'm also in the Slug Club and Seeker on the Slytherin quidditch team. I don't think I did

Naomi swallowed and turned to walk away. No matter how angry or confused or in love she was, this was family. And she would give anything for family that cared about her the amount that these two did.

“No you’re not sorry!” Bellatrix didn’t bother to speak anymore. She continued on her way, ignoring Regulus. “Have a great life!” she said sarcastically as she continued on her way.

Regulus looked uncertainly between the two girls both of who were starting to leave as he tried pointlessly to think of a way to fix the situation. "I'm sorry," he said apologetically to Naomi as he looked at her, "just wait here okay." Bellatrix was his cousin, she was the one who was really mad at him and Naomi would understand . He turned and started to follow her a few steps bing. "Yes I am, I can't stand it for you're mad at me so please just listen."

I can’t tell you. I wish, wish, wish I could. But I’d be biased. I’d tell you to never leave me and that’s not fair. So go talk to someone, like Sirius or Andy or someone rational.

Well you’ve come too far to leave Naomi, and you’ve already pissed off Bellatrix. Go with what makes you happy Reg, do what you think is right. It’s not anyone’s place to tell you what to do.

Naomi looked her in the eye, ready to take the punch. And when Reg moved in front of her, shouting, she felt like her chest had constricted. He was doing it. He was telling her that that was enough and she felt amazing. “Bellatrix. Why?”

Bellatrix’s eyes widened as Regulus protected Naomi. She completely ignored the other girl and glared at Regulus! “You’re no cousin of mine! I’m done with you! I have tried protecting you for years, but if you’re going to throw it away from someone like her, then be my guest! You’re worse than Sirius.” He probably wouldn’t take it as an insult, but it was the worst thing she could think of to say. She shot the most menacing look she could at Naomi and started walking away. Stopping for a brief moment, she turned her head. “You cannot begin to know how much I hate you now.”

Regulus opened his mouth to reply to Bellatrix but stood frozen as it hit him what she was saying. He knew she'd be cross at him but he thought that would be it, that she'd see he was happy and over time come to terms with it. However he could hear the certainty in her voice, she meant everything she was saying, she really did hate him. He let go of Naomi's hand quickly and stared at his cousin. "I'm sorry Bellatrix, please don't walk away." He whispered  but still loud enough for her for her to hear him. "I love you too."
