“EEK!” –though it was his own brother, kazuichi was still frightened! that booming voice of his, and not to mention how quick he was to act. he knew he meant well, but it always came off as a little much. “course they are! why wouldn’t they? an’ there ain’t no need for that. . i don’t think ‘m gonna have any problems like last year. .”

“Ya know exactly why they wouldn’t.”

He stares for a moment, trying to make sure his brother isn’t lying to him. After a moment though he sighs, shoulders visibly relaxing. “Good. But if you do, ya know my classroom is just down the hall from yours…” He’s worried okay.

“i know i know! geez! ya don’t hafta be so scary. . ‘m fine!!” he could handle himself. . a little better than before, but it was an improvement. however, as much as he seemed to dismiss it, he really did appreciate his brother looking out for him, even if it did end with some violent notes. “you ain’t gotta worry about me. .”

“I ain’t scary!” Doesn’t help that he’s saying this in his angry voice, does it? But he realizes it and sighs. He’s learning, at least. That’s the reason they were put in separate classes (or one of them, at least) he needed to stop being so....protective? Violent? One or the other. 

“I’m always gonna worry but it’s whatever. If ya say they’re treatin’ ya right then fine. Forget it.”

“Those punks in your class are treatin’ ya alright, right?” Kenjiro didn’t like that they were placed in separate classrooms. He couldn’t keep an eye on his brother, nor could he make sure no one was messing with him. “If they aren’t ,just say the word and I’ll punch their lights out.”

“Ah, let me try again then!  I study how communication functions and operates in successful situations!  Well, how it should operate to CREATE successful situations!  Are you still following me?  Let me know if I need to slow down, haha!” 

Sunako folded her arms across her chest.  “Most of my research relies on the theory that communication and motivation are linked together.  You can’t have proper communication without motivation.  It functions the same in the opposite way!  Do you get it, do you get it!?”

She...She sure talks alot, huh? He’s actually paying attention this time, and gives a small nod. Truthfully, outside of his class, he didn’t talk to alot of the other students at Hope’s Peak. There were even talents like this? Well, you learn something new every day. 

“I think so?” He said, reaching up to scratch at his head, then adjusting his beanie afterwards. “It ain’t really my thing but I think I get you.” Maybe. Maybe he’s also just bullshiting, who knows.

“Huh? You need me to fix somethin’?” He’s not sure he heard right. Fuyuhiko, asking for help? Yeah right. But his mind gets away from him, thinking of what awesome vehicles the yakuza might have because- because yakuza are rich right? Normally he’d scoff, but it’s the prospect of getting his hands on such fancy cars or something similar that has his eyes sparkling. He hadn’t repaired something like that before, hm.
